I hope that 2017 is going to be the year of the Bitcoin because I am really looking forward to sell some coins in the future.
It is not sure that 2017 is going to be the year of the Bitcoin so we will have to wait it out.

Chance is possible since we see that more demand is going higher because more people is getting interested in bitcoin, I just hope there is something that will make the bitcoin be introduce in television.

hmm how if in year 2017 bitcoin will decrease the price down to 100$ nobody knows were only half way into 2016 i think and because of (halving) many of user are predicting that in year 2017 bitcoin will increase the price but for me every year is going to be the year for bitcoins it only needs some support and precautions buy bitcoin or trade to altcoins

If the block size is increased to 2 MB or higher and the implementation of the SegWit in 2016, 2017 will be a good year.

Yes agree with you since its lauching bitcoin is improving every year and every year is a year of bitcoin.Specailly 2016 till now we have seen good price increase till now and in 2017 i think its just gonaa high and high

after halving bitcoin might demand will increase in 2017, because there will be many new adopters.
so if the price can really increase over $1,000 in 2017, I would say year of the Bitcoin. because during this time the price was really hard to go back to touch $1,000 or more.

I don't think the price increase would only be the basis to consider a year to be the "bitcoin year". It would make sense if 2017 is the year where bitcoin gets a world recognition like officially being one of the global currencies and become widely accepted and also a global adoption where bitcoin has become a form of payment by nearly all major companies.

i think not only 2017 but onward every year is the year of bitocin. i am hopeful that the future of bitcoin will be more bright in future. people will take more and more interest in bitocin in future and bitcoin will become the world number one crypto currency.

You are right, I also think that the coming future is all for bitcoin and each year will be the year of bitcoin, as now the time of digital system has been started and everyone prefer digital system so bitcoin will flourish in each coming year.

I'm just guessing 2017 might actually be a bitcoin year because there probably will be a mass adoption by then. The span of one year is really short, yet long enough for many things to happen. It's only been more than half a year for 2016 and we can already see that bitcoin has risen by roughly 65%

If you say 2017 is the year of bitcoins then 2018 onward would not be a fruitful year? One thing I know we are increasing in numbers so every year would be good year until we reach massive adoption.

The year of bitcoin is considered as that year in which bitcoin boost up to every corner of the world, , in that year bitcoin achieved the most success in respect to al other years even in respect to the onward years no matter that success continue to the onward years , but the year is considered as that in which the bigger success starts.

Optimistic opinion. I slightly differ to this statement, I think price of bitcoin in 2017 will keep fluctuating till half of the year or few more period after that and just before the end of 2017 we will  see sustainable growth. Then there will be no adverse effect on price of bitcoin since beginning of 2018 even in the case of economy crash. We might see some major events in 2017 but no more any major incidents since 2018.

Thats a good idea because if you relay from the old block halving its a little bit the same amd i think we will aware for that if it will happen again after 4 years we have already reference from old graph to present..

this possible trend is because of number of factors, such as an increased acceptance of payments in bitcoin by big companies, and the authorities’ increased interest and investment in the blockchain technology which pushes all the intelligence to the edge making 2017 the year of bitcoin.
