If bitcoin at 2017 reach the 900 dollars or 1000 dollars it will be like a reborn to several people that started at the wrong moment and lost or left bitcoin, as others has tooked this opportunity to maximize and make profit from bitcoin. For the history of bitcoin will be like the first birthday of bitcoin above the 1000 dollars and stable.
i would say that bitcoin might get 1000 dollars price not in 2017 but even in 2016,we can get real nice rise after halving The volume's go down right now,but i have spoken to some person which have claimed that btc should cross 1000$ this year. Maybe the bitcoin's volume will go down after halving but what the main reason you can sure about this if the bitcoin will get a higher value for their price? 1000$ in this year?it's too high for bitcoin. Not really going to go down but as the halving is going to happen the limit of bitcoin is going to be limited until it reached to 21 million volume. But for sure I think the price of bitcoin by that time is going to be demand and higher. And good effects of halving is going to happen by that year. Most of the people here saying that 2016 is the year of bitcoin because of halving but i really dont think so. The Bitcoin price is below $650 and halving just now two days away. |

Every year bitcoin is going to rise and every year we can see more people buying bitcoins , demand is also high , definitely on year 2017 it is going good time for bitcoin  yeah I think 2017 has been spared from the effects halving, so users will return to growth as usual and demand will also grow with increasing user each year will be better for bitcoin |

The effect of Halving does not occur immediately. Recall past Halving. The effect was evident only after a few months.But then it was a different time, and the Bitcoin was just starting its way. Then the course of dispersed asic buyers. They were sold for Bitcoin, then to the rest of the course background tightened. And it just coincided with Halving. IMHO, a coincidence. |

Shaping up as big year  I don't see any reason why must be particular this year. So the answer is may be or may not be. Depends everything from what will happen that year and from the "humor" of bitcoin. |

I also have heard the same things about 2015 and 2016 and now they are saying the same things about 2017 and I do not know what to believe. I am just going to wait and see for my self what is going to happen because people are just saying things without any facts. |

Really very difficult to estimate because bitcoin fluctuate so often experienced a decrease and increase. But I believe in 2017 bitcoin will be fine and will develop. after halving bitcoin might demand will increase in 2017, because there will be many new adopters.
so if the price can really increase over $1,000 in 2017, I would say year of the Bitcoin. because during this time the price was really hard to go back to touch $1,000 or more.

Much closer 2017 is, much esiear to talk about it, nowdays i think that 2017 will not be so good for bitcoin, just a default year without supernatural changes.
Im not sure about it but i would rather agree with you,2017 may seem to be not the best year for bitcoin,we can already see some volume decrease which may lead us to price fall after halving. Still it is hard to say,6 months is a lot of time in bitcoin market. 2016 is a good year for bitcoin because we saw that bitcoin has reached further publicity that it has never reached before. And some big companies have adopted bitcoins like Steam, and it's only about half a month only. By 2017, we are expecting quite a lot of other major companies to start adopting bitcoin as a form of payment. |

2017 would be my third year of knowing Bitcoin woooo hopefully we could see more people and popular websites accepting Bitcoin as a means of payment sooner than expected. But i'm actually really glad Steam decided to accept it quite recently; i plan to buy the Greenlight Pass so that i can start publishing my indie games. |

2017 will not be the year of the bitcoin, I think that the bitcoin is gonna rise to a high amount this year.
Because of this its gonna be the year of the bitcoin and not 2017 in my eyes.

Well if we are lucky to hit 800 i think i will consider that this is year is the the year of bitcoin but if not maybe in 2017 is the year of the bitcoin.. Because that is the new beginning of bitcoin when the block halving is done in this year.. Also more adotion will come in 2017 because here in my country some stores are planning to accept bitcoin as payment.. for those who know about bitcoin.. |
