2017 Year of the Bitcoin

I hope bitcoin year 2017 will not be like linux year which is every year and means nothing

Why are you so harsh with linux? I don't think linux is contributing a lot in the world for being an open source / free source yearly. But  I am hoping that bitcoin is going to pump for the year of 2017. And a lot of good things are going to happen for next year so that all of us are going to become happy before Christmas.

The development of the bitcoin has slowed a lot recently. I think the trend will continue in 2017. So the price will not rise much.

Maybe the more cryptocurrencies introduced in the market the more it slow down? It probably creates more confusions especially to newcomers and to most people that have less or no knowledge at all.   

Bitcoin will always be there holding some price, but I think 2017 will be the year of altcoins and we will see many new and innovative coins launched by that point.

The thing with altcoins is that they are only having gimmick features that are nice to talk about, but in reality don't get used a lot beside for speculation purposes.

playing with altcoins is mostly gamble if you pick good or right one you will gain profit in other case you will lose short term is good but only for very short period

In every business their is always profit and loss , it is upto us to chose the correct product and when to sell and when to hold, Loss mostly occurs due to greediness. In Altcoins leaving some coins with good projects which is true that altcoin you can hold for long, balance most of todays new coins are just pump and dump, If you start to love Altcoins just like bitcoin for long term, then you will be in loss, as out of 10 altcoins 9 will die and 1 can give you profit, but that 1 coin profit wont compensate your loss.

I think coming year 2017 bitcoin will get more support from Altcoin as in the market their are lot of new coins coming in that some of them are really in good project so it will give more support to bitcoin as everyone knows that in the end every altcoin users have to sell it for bitcoin.

I want to be agree with you. altcoins are getting huge appreciation already. and upcoming year will bring another milestone for them.
bitcoin is pretty much stable. but altcoin doing a great job here.
I am seeing a lot of altcoin raising millions of dollars in their ICO rounds.. live examples are ICONOMI, Antshare etc.

Nobody know what happen after halving. Maybe bitcoin will not grow and 2017 will be worst year for bitcoin but i hope that everything will be okay. Halving will help to bitcoin become much bigger and stronger.

Every year was great in bitcoin but some of the event happens like bitcoin halving in 2016 and the result was great because the value of bitcoin is increasing and if 2017 come and the price would be stable i think we can say that 2017 will be year of bitcoin too.

2016 actually has been good to bitcoin, considering we opened up the year at $400 and we're closing down nearly $600. And in this year as well, the community has grown quite an exponential rate and we've reached far more people and more materials for publications were done than in the past years. I see bitcoin ads floating all over.

If the medias are just going to put some time to expose bitcoin for sure the popularity and value of bitcoin is going to boost by the year of 2017. They are going to be a big help with the adoption of bitcoin. Because people are always on tuning in with what's on the trend with the news of medias and as well as social medias. 2017 is really going to be a big pumping wave for bitcoin.

Yes it would be called bitcoin year if it reaches that amount aside from the day bitcoin was deleased.  Everyone must be all happy especially those people who are patient with waiting for the bitcoin price to goes up again.  I just wish that I have saved atleast half of bitcoin as I could make a really good start with it.
