I used both of them but i more it in investment. Bitcoin is the best way to earn money i used bitcoin because in the forum you need btc wallet to get your salary. And i used to invest coz this is the fastest way to transact in investment site using btc.

Pretty much similar with you that i also use it as both of them but i use it more as a currency and less as investement.In fact most of the time is only used it as normal currency and mostly i gamble with them or i withdraw them to the fiat.But now i started buying bitcoins and also using it as investement also and would increase to use it as investment slowly.

I use bitcoin as investment and at the same time a currency because fist, i use it to buy altcoin and trade with altcoin / btc market.  Second, if ever i saw some  interesting stuff online, i use it as payment.  I also use it to pay monthly bills.  I don't intend to hold it and wait for the price to increase, rather i like my bitcoin to be actively used to both currency and investment.

I think bitcoin is not good enough and the support to be used as currency or payment method for this time? I think although there are some stores that accept bitcoin but that only a small fraction? we need the ease of transacting. maybe I will be using bitcoin as a currency. when bitcoin accepted by many customers

Yeah altcoin is an hot market at a moment and if you really want to make it quick then I think you should invest in altcoin as if luck favors you then you can make huge profits even in a single day.

for now I'm using it as an currency to buy some extras on the internet because I dont know where to invest it and I dont have any trading skills at this moment . hoping this year that I can use bitcoin as an investment so that I can have extra money to use in real life.  

Lol I think if you do not know where to invest bitcoin and how much you want to invest I think you just need to hold the course in your bitcoin wallet and wait for prices to rise. you have to have is patience I'm sure you will benefit from this investment? why do not you try it?

Yeah if one doesn't have knowledge of trading and investment then the best thing is to hold them for future, no doubt holding will not grow your coins but if price goes higher in future you can earn good profits from it.

Yes, for a newbie who are new to bitcoin I think holding a great way to do. Because if they have long known bitcoin, then later they will also know about trading. Due trading requires knowledge and experience about the market analysis. hehe

But it is also going to be a good thing if a newbie is going to know how to use his bitcoin for real life as a currency for sure he is going to be encourage if he ever manage to use it as a currency. And of course at the same time it is also better if he is going to hold some of the portion of his bitcoin so that he can have his own investment.

There is no complexity in using it as a currency, they can use it wherever they want, but as a newbie they might not be aware that which is the right place to invest their coins.

Most people that get into bitcoin, do so because they think it will increase in value in the future. Most people treat Bitcoin as an investment and not as an actual currency, and that is ok. People should be free to do so.

Until the usage is more mainstream and people get paid in Bitcoin, it doesn't make much sense to pay with Bitcoin for most of the stuff out there when fiat is enough. Sometimes it is very useful for certain services, but most of the everyday stuff can be paid in fiat.

Yeah if you have enough fiat in order to pay your bills it is better to use that than to use bitcoin, since I personally have no doubt that bitcoin is going to increase in value.

Well adoption is a problem but you must understand that bitcoin its still is very young so I am pretty sure that as time passes by more people will adopt bitcoin obviously this could be accelerated by external factors, like economic uncertainty, hyperinflation, etc.

I actually use them as both. I find it more easier and cheaper to buy things online (especially steam games and other random stuff I find interesting) with the help of bitcoin. Also, as I've been also buying and keeping bitcoins for about a year (and sold it off when it reached $660 this recent halving), I considered it as an investment, too. It is a pretty nice investment IF you bought in cheap and just forget to check the price very often for about months and you'll see that it grew to something compared to what it was before.

You don't have to spend your own coins if you don't want to. This is how I do it: If I'm going to buy something to pay for in Bitcoin, then I simply convert fiat to Bitcoin, and complete the transaction with the Bitcoins that I bought. It's very simple, and I don't have to touch my own coins which I also prefer to save.

There is no difference between this two things. Investment can be made with or in any currency. That is a fact, with exception that bitcoin is something new on market, and price of bitcoin have potential to grow in future. In that way bitcoin as currency can be profitable on long run.
Bitcoin is currency, and there is no argue about that. People can say what they wish, but in the end its individual how will someone use bit coins.
