Blockchain transactions are not reversable while paypal transactions are ...
Beware of PayPal and other reversible transfer services @ Bitcointalk
So before trading BURST/FIAT this way ensure the person offering can prove any reputation or escrow.

But despite de scams stories, there should be some positive ones...
Have you had any nice experience, please tell us you stories on how were you able to filter to get an honest person to deal with.

yeah there's a lot of good ones if we based on percentage we have 20% of scammers and 80% percent of good businessman in this bitcoin era, for me i cant trust anyone except my brother who is a member of this kind of business for 5 years now and he is a hero member in this site and a he has lot of experience in terms of dealing btc.

1.5 months later paypal finally gave birth.

Here is the face of the scammer:

Apparently, the eBay buyer whom i confirmed called the credit card company and submitted a dispute on paypal. Since sale of a bitcoin via ebay isn't covered by the paypal seller protection policy, they took my money to cover their looses.

WORD OF ADVISE: STAY AWAY FROM PAYPAL!

Ripple is recovering strongly, driven among others, by the rise of Bitcoin

The market is recovering and among this gradual recovery, highlights Ripple, which is rising strongly in the last hours, recovering part of the value lost these days, also driven by the strong rise of Bitcoin

Although many were vultures already launched to attack Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency market, for its adjustment repeated every year at this time, today the market is already recovering and everyone will return to the cave. Today, everything is green and rising strongly, we will not see so much genius talking about the end of the bubble or the rancid reference to the 'Bubble Tulip' in the S. XVII in Holland. Among the strongest things that are in this rise, I reached the third market cryptocurrency, Ripple, which goes up a lot.

Ripple at the beginning of the month touched its maximum value, reaching the 3.8 $ valuation, but since then it has been losing value and the news that MoneyGram would start operating under the blockchain of this cryptocurrency, did not serve to take force enough. Yesterday, dragged by the Bitcoin, XRP reached the ground of $ 0.88, falling below $ 1, something that did not seem possible. From that point it has been recovering value, pointing directly to the $ 1.6, with a rise of more than 55%, driven no doubt by the rise of Bitcoin.

This cryptocurrency has its popularity in South Korea, since the operations in the country represent almost 70% of the world market. Bithumb and Upbit, represent curiously 55% of the global quota and in South Korea, due to the 'premium' that exists in this country, it registers a value above 1.8 $, which is equivalent to a value improvement of close 20%, with respect to European or American exchange houses.

So the best method to pay?

Regardless of the method the other party is using, always ask for a source of funding. If you don't want to go through this process, just trade with reputable exchanges instead.

Using paypal is slightly secured because there were security measure in adding a debit or credit card. But also sometimes they can chargeback your card without your knowledge. Beware for all the transaction you will made in any kind of reversible transfer. But despite all the bad experience, their are also positive feedback.

paypal provides protection for sellers and buyers from online media.
paypal is actually very safe for users, because the security system contained in paypal is quite tight and super extra.
paypal can restrict the account if there is a suspicious that is harmful to paypal itself.
but with so few users, because it is considered difficult.

The forum was moved from Bitcoin.org to Bitcointalk.org so just copy the topic number: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=22255.0 There is nothing useful there though, as the link he posted is down as well.

But for western union I think its abit safe since in most WU transfers there is no wallet involved.. The intention of the sender is clearly interpreted interpreted and the receiver can withdraw funds three minutes after the transfer has been effected
