You should have checked the letter before sending the coins, then. Its purpose is for you to verify you can actually accuse them if anything goes wrong.

I doubt they would randomly generate invalid letters to random customers when someone could be verifying every single one of them (as they should), which would unmask their "scam".

just a word to the community... i've heard from several people that chipmixer admins are paying people to post fake scam accusations on cryptomixer... take these single post account 'scam' accusations with a grain of salt. multiple people I know have reportedly been approached directly by chipmixer staff...

You haven't heard, it's just that you make up stories in your head during the night and in the morning you think it really happened. Chipmixer truly does not need to use such tactics. Trying to accuse it to cover your ass is a child's mentality. If your post was supposed to accuse CM, it does the opposite, proving that CM has nothing to do with it.
On the other hand, I know competitors desperate enough to launch a DDOS attack on other mixers.

Didn't heard anything like that nor believe on such gossips since if there's no strong evidence that is really happening well maybe you shouldn't believe that, Also Chipmixer is so successful right now so I there's no way that they will pay people just to destroy the reputation. It's your responsability to verify that your sessions' letter is correct and signed with their correct, publicly known address.

If it doesn't, it's your word vs their word.
