Still not a single response from support or admins. Lost $85,000...................................

PLEASE

Any updates?

none for me... still out $85,000. no additional responses besides they are 'working on all cases'

Im sure they will sort us out since i just got a mail from the masking for more info about my transactions, will update in this thread once everything is sorted.

i hope they get back to me soon.. i have to be one of the bigger (or biggest...) cases, and have not received any reply to my email at all since 5+ days. the only response I've received is from PM with a link to the post they made earlier...

How that comes?

So you made a deposit 3 days ago and didn't receive anything. Not being enough, you sent again bitcoins 15 minutes ago and you wonder why you're still waiting?
You got scammed and didn't visit the correct websiteBTC

Let's not forget that many user lost money on the REAL Cryptomixer site. Just check the past few pages of posts. admins still have not provide any refunds... i suggest everyone avoid this mixer until the admins provide refunds, because at this point, it is possible that they are simply scamming and talking about 'refunds' to buy time and scam more people. the real [banned mixer] website doesn't even have any warning message on it about what happened like they posted on this thread!

not trying to make accusations, but it is a real possibility that the admins simply switched their SSL certificate, cried 'we got hacked!', and then posted on this forum to save face while leaving the website up to scam more users. I hope this is not the case, and the site really did get hacked, and the admins will refund everyone like they say, but now it has been over a week and not a single user who got scammed has gotten any refunds still.

RESOLUTION

First of all, we are confident that:
1) our servers were not compromised;
2) the operations of our customers did not fall into third hands.

At the moment we managed to repeat the experience of users who reported the problem with the fake signing address on our clearnet website, and eliminated this attack about 18 hours ago.

What have happened?

An attackers managed to access HTTP-traffic on one of the infrastructure nodes of upstream providers. Thus, they deceived the verification system of the global Certification Authority (CA) lettercrypt.org and issued a fake Domain Validation (DV) certificate, and were able to send HTTPS-traffic to their servers.

What does it mean?

This means that users who received letters signed by the wrong address has sent their money to attackers and will unlikely receive them back. Those users who received letters signed by the correct address may not worry - the data exchange was secured directly between them and our servers. Also, this incident did not touch on those who used our onion-mirror.

What do we plan to do?

We are very concerned how carefully and gracefully the phishing attack was performed. Unfortunately, this is possible in an open internet and this proves how much existing technologies of open internet are vulnerable. Therefore:
1) We will implement a set of measures to reduce the risks of such incidents with our clearnet website;
2) We will insistently recommend to use the onion website and check the signature, including creating economic incentives for this;
3) We will introduce the status-page on third-party reliable public  provider to provide the up-to-date status of the website.

What will happen to victims of this incident?

We value our customers and their trust very high and do not want to leave them as victims in this situation. During the coming days, we will continue to collect the information on users affected by this incident - when, we will see a complete picture and the amount of damage we will offer them an option to compensate the lost funds. If you haven't contacted me or support@[banned mixer] yet, get in touch and provide the LOG on your operation.

OFFICIAL UPDATE

Kindly note, we have finished collecting and processing the information on users affected by this incident and we are sure there are no new incidents on this attack. During coming days we will contact affected users to agree the refund details and we are aimed to provide the compensation till the end of this month.

Thank you all for your patience during resolving this issue.

Update on my lost 1.48 BTC ($85,000 USD):

- Admin finally replied to me, said I will be refunded for my losses in a few separate payments between now and the end of May.
- Admin sends me a BTC address to send the refund to and says "Please confirm that this is the correct address to send your refund to".
- I have never seen the address he sent me, nor did I previously send him ANY BTC address to send my refund to, and it is not my BTC wallet. I reply and tell him don't send the refund there, and give him another address that IS mine to send the refund to.
- A few days later (today) I get another message saying that they have sent the first payment for my refund. I check the transaction, and see that they sent $30,000 to the address that they had given me before, even though I had told them NOT to send the refund to that address, and given them a new one.

The address they sent me is not any address I have ever used, nor is it the address that I used to originally send the coins to cryptomixer. I have no clue where they got this address to send my refund to, as I never sent it to them, and I am unsure as to why they proceeded to send $30,000 of my refund to this address after I specifically told them not to and gave them a new one....

why would they not send funds back to the address that originally sent them? why would they send them there after i told them not to? I will keep the thread updated when I get a response from them.

tl;dr:
still have not received any amount of a refund for my lost 1.48 BTC.
admin sent around .5 BTC of my 'refund' to a random address that I don't own and never gave to them.

update:

i spoke with the admin on live chat, and he told me that someone contacted them from another email with the same letter of guarantee as me and gave him the address to send my refund to apparently...

i sent the support 2 emails containing some screenshots my email originally, and then all further contact was done via bitcointalk PMs. I specifically told him not to send the refund to that address when he asked me to confirm it, yet they did anyway.

the admins now are telling me they are re-checking all details and will get back to me.

i will update the thread when i have more info, but for now I would still tread with caution on this mixer.. i hope they can make it right for me because I have lost a very large amount of money.
