The bitcoin is the biggest and I also think that it will stay like this because its growing very fast and it also has a pretty good future compared with other cryptocurrency's. I think it will always win from the other ones.

Bitcoin will not be replaced with other cyptocurrency because it's the mother currency of all currency, and how could be they formed as crypto currency without bitcoin entity itself. No other currency will do the same capability against bitcoin and in fact it's now happening in other countries adopting bitcoin as payment if their purchases at local stores. How could other crypto currencies will compet to that, despite of the growing economy bitcoin has. So stay focus on bitcoin and let other crypto currencies to be your back-up in order to make your bitcoin balances became bigger.

Everyone is sure that bitcoin is the best and biggest of all of the available crypto currencies and nowadays there is no any altcoin which will have that much potential that it increase in the price to reach bitcoin to defeat it. Bitcoin is going very faster in its way of success.

In terms of amount or value no altcoins can get even in bitcoin since it already reaches the amount that is hard to achieve by other cryptocurrency, but in terms of service now some other user uses other altcoins now to do transaction because of the high fees and delay services.

It will always be since there are no other alt coin greater in value of bitcoin. Bitcoin having features that are more beneficial than other alt coin . Alt coin needs to more expansion in features and needs to acquire by many users conveniently. That's why bitcoin is trusted now since it is tested.

but spending bitcoin will be far larger in fee, won't you think that? i am not a big fan of any altcoins, but i know that altcoins can decrease the burden of bitcoin. bitcoin won't be taken over because almost all of the altcoins are primarily traded with bitcoins instead of fiats.

out of ability to use the signature, i want a new ban strike policy that will fade the strike after 90~120 days of the ban and not to be traced back, like google | email me for anything urgent, message will possibly not be instantly responded
i am not really active for some reason

Does it make sense to believe that Bitcoin could one day be replaced by another cryptocurrency, that is, a cryptocurrency that really does make Bitcoin obsolete?

Nah. I don't think so because bitcoin is very popular to many people because of it's advantages and especiall the value. Although many crytocurrencies are using today together with bitcoin, bitcoin will be the one who will stand up to those digital moneys because many people are using it and it is more convinient and useful among the others.

Nope. Bitcoin will not be replace by another crytocurrency because for I think bitcoin is the father of all other crytocurrency because some people convert their money to bitcoin so that if the value got high their money will grow. Bitcoin is very usefuland helpful though it's value is not stable still it is good and very convinient to use for all of the people.

There's actually two ways for Bitcoin to get replaced by another crypto-currency. The first and a far-from-reality way is an altcoin would rise. That altcoin is not a simple altcoin, the devs of that altcoin has implemented out-of-the-box ideas that people of the Internet has never thought of. Sounds unrealistic, right? But it might be possible in the future, we just can't see it right now.

The second way is that Bitcoin gets taken down by something. Maybe hackers would DDOS the shit out of Blockchain. Idk what it would be but it's something that will make Bitcoin transactions really really slow, making people go to the second best crypto-currency at that point.

There is always possibility for another cryptocurrency to take bitcoin place. I don't think there is such coin at this moment. People talk about dash, then ETH. For now they are far behind, and I don't think something can happen for them to come closer to bitcoin price and market cap.
Who knows what future is bringing for everyone of us, maybe some new team make a good coin, and with big investments in marketing, promotions maybe some one can make coin big as bit coin.

Your second way of moving Bitcoin out of existence seems to be even more far-fetched

At least, in respect to outside actions against Bitcoin. Really, if someone is going to beat the shit of Bitcoin, you immediately have to face two questions, at the very minimum. First, why it hasn't been done already, and, second, if it is possible why another coin will be invulnerable to this attack? As to me, Bitcoin, as of now, can be destroyed only from inside. It has existed long enough to be considered as immune or strongly resistant to anything we have seen so far (DDOS, spam attacks, and whatnot) as well as free of potentially lethal bugs, for absolutely the same reason

Check this:

https://coinmarketcap.com/

Ripple is getting so close. The Bitcoin market cap is stable at $29 billion, while Ripple is more than half of that amount at $14.5 billion. And most importantly, the share of BTC in the total crypto market cap has gone below 50%.
That's a big marketcap but I am convince with that, it rises due to the price bubble that has happen lately, in ordinary days it was the Ethereum who's at number 2 of bitcoin. Well, as I check the price now, it has gone down to 20,000 satoshis which I believe it will continue to drop down as investors started to pull out in the game. If that is the only basis, I think it's very weak IMO, the price has rise significantly in just a week while EThereum are doing it slowly until it reach a bigger marketcap.

And bitcoin is the beginning of all cryptocurrencies so nothing can replace it, starting from the high price and the great crypto user interest in bitcoin, in coinmarketcap bitcoin is still the number 1 among other crypto.

Satoshi made bitcoin to show that a system can work without bank, not to make the king of the cryptocurrency, so in a less short term, 5-7 years, why not ?? Or maybe a few one will share the market, it's not a big deal.

And what's the basis of bitcoin getting replaced after 15-20 years? Fiat has been there for a long time and there are now currencies such as bitcoin that has much better mechanics and concept, yet here we are. Fiat is just as strong as before. People are still paying, buying, and accepting fiat. Some are even worshiping it.

Let's say that quantum computer goes out. They can simply change the algorithm of bitcoins into something that's quantum proof (read: post-quantum cryptography). And let's say that the one and only lightning network comes out, bitcoin can also adopt to that. It's actually pretty hard to make bitcoin obsolete since it can always adopt to what's new.

totally agree with john here. like i said somewhere bitcoin rise up all because of merchants using it and we kept using it. it does nothing besides that but the rest of the tokens do make greater functions for the public use. one token i'd like seeing rise is ethereum, xrp or probably even xem.
