The wallet sync very slow , it's only me or others have this problem?

Thanks

The wallet does sync slower than usual and it's because the wallet has to check the work of the miners and each hash takes about 0.5 seconds to generate due to memory hardness of the algo.  So sync is a bit slow by nature, in future we will multithread sync which will help a lot but that is not top priority yet while the blockchain is still relatively small.

Thanks for your answer, I will just leave it to sync a few hours .

Hi there

as promised i have had a deeper look into the logfiles of the pool.
I will have some changes this evening and post back here. One of the devs is also haveing a look on the logfiles/pool configs.

Thank you for all the people putting their miners there, as promised fees will stay for 1month on 0% for all testers/registrants of the pool. Sadly we didn't hit a block yet Sad

No problem, is see very big potential in VRM and in VRC. I am into VRC since the very first day of launch and i still like it.

I just stumbled about sth. which might fix the error. There are some values for generating 2 transactions on the block creating/finding a block. I completely removed that section and restarted the stratum proxy.
Your miners should reconnect shortly.
But let's see what the very helpfull/assister dev finds Smiley

I'm trying to register on your pool, it's saying, check your email.
But I can't find confirmation email anywhere, not even in spam folder.  Huh

This is my signature...

Hi Guys

Spent the weekend testing my pool.
Have just finished confirming that payments are processing correctly on the mainnet Smiley

Details:

The recommended miner is:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1326803.0

With the command:
cpuminer-corei7-avx.exe -a scrypt:1048576 -o stratum+tcp://vrm.cpuminers.com:3333 -u <Address here> -p x

So far with me and a mate mining on the pool we have hit 6 blocks.
I your wondering what the blocks with a reward of 3.2 are that was when payments were not working so had a high pool fee on to my mate's address.

Will be working on the UI and hashrate's over the next few days Smiley

Feel free to pm me if you have any issues.

Haha yea Smiley

Thanks for the testnet help.
Also managed to get your miner compiled under windows but it didn't run well at all, ran fine on linux.

For anyone else trying to setup a pool the main change to get blocks accepting was setting the coin to send the public key in the coinbase of the first transaction rather than the address.
Eg. https://github.com/CoiniumServ/CoiniumServ/blob/develop/src/CoiniumServ/Transactions/Outputs.cs#L80

Sorry guys replying as fast as BCT will let me Sad
I've just created a slack channel:
https://cpuminers.slack.com/

This is due to the miner not being able to allocate enough memory.

Try with the -t option increasing the number till it errors to find your pc's limit.

Eg. cpuminer-corei7-avx.exe -a scrypt:1048576 -o stratum+tcp://vrm.cpuminers.com:3333 -u <Address here> -p x -t 1

May want to increase minimum payout amount because this will take .2 off every coin for send fees going to miners.
