The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

you have the slowest server in the world, i wait  at least 3 mins to see anything updated on the console

... or you have the slowest Internet provider in the world  Grin

No issues on my side - blazing fast ...

Console is very responsive for me as well.

so i know awhile ago he added atiflash to smos
first, sorry i am a novice at linux
1.) stop mining (i thought it was disallow)
2.) get to the directory or the command to run atiflash
3.) I'll drop roms in that directory (just need to know where) was before /root/utils/atiflash but not there anymore
4.) commands to load flash (i know these)
5.) restart mining command so reboot it goes to normal or would a reboot just solve this

I think thats about it.  Help appreciated thanks!

Does anyone else's rig sometimes take 3-5 minutes to boot up instead of seconds? Not all my rigs do it and the one that does it doesn't do it on every reeboot or boot. I can't figure out what causes it. Any help please?

Why is there no CPU miners available for use on SMOS? Like xmrig, he got both nvidia and amd version, why not just include the cpu version aswell? they are very alike. Especially for monero algo, cpu brings as much speed as GPU.

The rigs have to get an IP from DHCP and then download the newest version of SMOS and register with the SMOS Dashboard.

2-3 minutes per load is about what I experience personally.

Having a new issue i havent seen on SMOS.

Im checking the SMOS home page where all my miners are hashing then i see one of my miner off line. I go and check and the miner is on and looks like its ok. I checked the counsil and it appears to of dropped 1 hour prior. So i restarted. Everything looks good and it shows up on SMOS. Im thinking all is now ok. But after 45min SMOS shows it go down again. BUT the miner is on and looks like its working properly. So i decided to connect a monitor and YES its actually still connected to pool and hashing BUT SMOS says its off line. Anyone have this issue? Thanks for your time guys.

Could this be the dev fee time for your associated miner of choice?

Maybe a firewall is blocking some traffic?

i love using simpleminer os and ive had 6 x 1050ti cards running on it super stable for months, today i tried to replace one of my 1050Ti cards with a newer gtx1060 6gb card but each time i load up the program i keep getting saying unable to query number of cuda devices is an nvidea driver installed, simpleminer will then still load up perfectly and my 5 x 1050ti cards will run as per normal but the 1060 just dosent show up, i know its working ok as ive used it via windows ( which i hate) . is there a way to add a command line or something so the simpleminer program picks up the new card cheers

For those of you wanting to add unsupported ccminer forks to smOS, I wrote an easy bash script.  https://steemit.com/crypto/@greerso/one-line-script-to-add-unsupported-miners-to-smos

Warning:  You should be very cautious about using bash scripts like this.  I could be putting anything on your rig if you dont take a look at what the script actually does.
