I am having problems with the lower limits as well. I do 1-2 BTC per bet usually but on bit book I can only bet above .85 BTC on bigger games cause that's all it allows. I just opened an account at stakebtc.com and i do my 2 BTC bets on college basketball there. I got a couple withdrawals from them instantly so that's good. Id prefer to do bit book but I need to be able to bet a little more on smaller games.
Another issue is first quarter bets... Why would my first quarter bets be processed when the game is done in NBA. I find that rediculous. Clearly it's not instant grading...

What game was this? We got down for 3 BTC just yesterday on a smaller college basketball game.

Belmont first half yesterday took extremely long to process. All the first half college basketball bets which are not huge games don't process until after the game the earliest..
Max bet on Belmont, Richmond, and George mason, would only let me go up to .865 BTC per bet.

I agree, the grading process has became slower. This needs to be improved as some folks go "all in" on first half etc and might want to get on 2nd half.

I agree.. The grading for 1st half and 1st quarters needs to be quicker for quick turn arounds.

Can you get rid of the withdraw limits? i would like to have my money please
Because we cover all transaction fees we have a minimum withdrawal to prevent costly transaction spam. We have discussed having a lower limit, and we can look into this further. Thanks for the feedback. Yes please do! I have been with you all about a year! better then anysite out there. I have been on others with no withdraw limits which i believe you all should follow. I feel like I should have access to my money at any time that i want it I grade you all an A+ for the site, odds and quick grading. D for having withdraw limits

Bitbook is the only online sportsbook I've ever used. And I've been nothing but pleased with their service. My only complaint would be the speed at which 1st quarter/half wagers are graded. I had a 1st quarter bet on tonites Seahawks game and it was just now graded in the 4th quarter. Had I had those coins earlier, I would of re wagered them. I usually bet small amounts 0.005 to 0.01BTC. Is it the withdrawal limit of 0.01 that people are complaining about? I understand the principle of having access to your funds at any time. But being that upset over $8.40USD worth of BTC seems a bit much to me. But, I've been in urgent need of money before, so I know what that's like. I've never had any worries that my coin at bitbook was in trouble. When they were having odds issues earlier in the week, I was still able to withdraw my 0.032 immediately.

Sorry if this has been brought up before. But are you aware that your software only prompts you to refresh for updated odds if the odds move in your favor?
In response to user feeback we have made an update to our bet acceptance workflow. If there is any shift in odds we will let users know that they should refresh their browser. Based on some analysis we expect this to occur about 5% of the time. When we first built BitBook our aim was to try to minimize the percentage that we have to reject bet requests. Based on this we had a couple checks on each bet and an odds shift to a higher payout was not something we looked for. However, in response to user feedback we have built a check for this, so users can know to refresh if a payout has gotten higher. Thanks as always for the feedback.

Why offer second half bets and live bets when they get taken off the board 2 minutes after being put up. Second half and live bets are RARELY available. I went to put a live bet un for .58 BTC 5 times and it would not take it and then it went off the board. I had 1.5 BTC available to bet...
This is crazy and needs to be fixed. I will gladly email you the screenshot if you want it. It says "sorry we cant accept this bet right now. please try again later".
I just tried to do ohio state second half multiple times and it wouldn't go through multiple times as well.

Thanks for this feedback. Was it definitely still halftime when this bet was attempted? Sometimes live odds are still visible for a couple minutes after a game returns, but they will have a block on them. We can see how this could be frustrating, and can look into improving the UI in these situations.

Following up on this, I think the gold standard is allowing live bets at almost all times, instead of just at intermissions or tv breaks, etc., as Bitbook seems to do right now. That'd be something I'd really be interested in and see other bitcoin books doing recently.

Are you sure? It looks like it is still in progress. If you have a source indicating it is completed, please PM it to us and we will settle all bets on the match.

Well I Know it stopped 2 hours ago at 0-3 15 points and since then I see no progress. Hard to imagine a game sitting at a single point for 2 hours .

We will keep an eye on it and score the bets when an official result is announced. It's actually not unusual for tennis matches to be paused and finished at a later time, for a variety of reasons.
