Waiting to see if any projects are launching on ETC, as it has been slow so far with very little news... and growth
ETC still has good scope as it is more developed that several other platforms and better than stratis etc, but there should be more marketing

Bitcoin cash forked and increased block size. ETH forked to reverse the theft of founder/ Developers stake in The DAO. They would have never never never done it if you or me had sent equal or more ether to some wrong address. So they muted chain by fork. ETC is unmuted original chain where code is law.

Bravo! we love blockchain because it's immutable and because of one bugged contract they forked. That's not immutable anymore then, now I want to see if they will fork again because of the parity's multisig contracts bug, I'm sorry for people who lost money but if it's immutable, it's immutable

ETCG is actually a fund you can buy, kind of like GBTC is for BTC. ETCG of course instead tracks ETC.

Today, I learned the history of coins. Ethereum Classic was originally orthodox, and ETH was a fork currency. ETC is suitable for a lot of marketing.
As far as I know, Ethereum classic appeared after theft of the Eethereum on a large amount, so Buterin paid for the scammers. This story was told to me by a friend, it seemed to me truthful ... This project definitely has a future, but it will not catch up with the real Ethereum

And this coin no one has? It's trading on Yobit, you can buy and sell there, calisto was kind of a lackluster airdrop, overshadowed by the ZCL/Hush Bitcoin private airdrop and some others... It just never got a whole lot of traction, but the coin is trading so you can buy it if you want I do agree with other post the ETC price was kind of making a move but then just slammed back down to support amid this recent market selloff.....ive been holding a bag for a while now hopefully with all the investment trust and such ETC will get going again.

Ethereum Classic is an open-source, peer-to-peer, computing platform based on blockchain technology and the original Ethereum code. Just like Ethereum, it provides a value token, or “altcoin”, called “classic ether” which is used to pay users for products and services, and as a transaction fee when using decentralized apps and smart contracts.
