Hi.  I discovered Bitcoins last month through Rick Falkvinge's blog and twice since have attended the NYC Bitcoin Meetup, hosted by Bruce Wagner.  I have devoted much of my life to exploring the ideas of free money, after reading F. A. Hayek's book "Denationalisation of Money" (1976), while attending grad school at Stanford in a department then known as Engineering-Economic Systems (EES), now as Management Science & Engineering (MS&E).  I thought it'd be another ten years or so before a free money took off.  Its time may be now.

I've been mining with several rigs for a couple of months now and am now doing some investigation into getting a new pushpool-based PPS-pool in the air.

Hey!  I'm a PHP Developer, just learned of BitCoin a couple days ago and am entirely hooked on the concept.  I have measly CPU/GPU resources available, but even so, I was able to accumulate 0.04 BTC within the first 24 hours of mining.  That's enough to have me thinking non-stop about all the possibilities, and running calculations on hardware costs / electricity costs / etc, and wishing I had capital to invest.

Gladly accepting free handouts at:

Hello there. Just made an account to make a post in the ClockTweak thread. Unfortunately, it seems I can't do to understandable restrictions on "Newbie" accounts.. I guess trolling comes with the attention that Bitcoin is getting now a days.

Hey, I'm boomshellshock.  Just been getting into bitcoins the past couple weeks, reading all the articles I can on it and whatnot.  Unfortunately my computer isn't nearly powerful enough to be used in mining but that gives me something invest in right?

Just another new bitcoin miner here saying hello.  I'm located in central VA if anyone wants to "talk shop."  I've actually found some good local computer stores that often have things in stock when places like Newegg and the rest go out.  I'm also pretty well versed in all things MacOS and Linux.

PM to say hello.
