Creating a Bitcoin client that fully implements the network protocol is extremely difficult. Bitcoin-Qt is the only known safe implementation of a full node. Some other projects attempt to compete, but it is not recommended to use such software for anything serious. (Lightweight clients like Electrum and MultiBit are OK.)

Hello,

I'm new to bitcoin and just starting out. I have two questions:

* Which exchanges are the most popular?
* I see some exchanges are "invitation only" most specifically bitcoinmarket.com how do I go about getting an invite?

Thanks!

Hello. I'm here because I'm interested about posting to non-newbie threads and sending pm's to people. If all goes well I may sometimes achieve my goals Smiley

Saying things like that may convince the admins to not lift the restriction for you.
