Hello bitcoiners all over the world  Grin

I'm so excited to be part of what i consider one the most exciting projects in human history !  Shocked

Quote
"Think about the strangeness of today's situation. Thirty, forty years ago, we were still debating about what the future will be: communist, fascist, capitalist, whatever. Today, nobody even debates these issues. We all silently accept global capitalism is here to stay. On the other hand, we are obsessed with cosmic catastrophes: the whole life on earth disintegrating, because of some virus, because of an asteroid hitting the earth, and so on. So the paradox is, that it's much easier to imagine the end of all life on earth than a much more modest radical change in capitalism."

Hello I'm sangaman. Very interested in bitcoins and cryptocurrencies in general. I have a CS degree although I just barely understand some of the more technical aspects of bitcoins.

I wish I'd done more research before opening my wallet, though, as I was over-eager at first to get some bitcoins and was scammed for $16.50 by a scammer on Bitcoinary.com. The scammer's info is as follows (let me know if there's a place that collects this kind of info):

Name: Gavin Eros
Facebook: http://en-gb.facebook.com/gavin.eros
Mobile Number: 818-404-7412 (I called this number and he answered)
E-mail: etiking@tormail.org (although I suspect he uses multiple)
Account Number: 000000476021212
Routing Number: 122100024 (Chase Bank)

Don't be naive/greedy like me and be very careful who you trust. Also stay away from Bitcoinary, it seems they put almost no effort into preventing scams or punishing scammers. I reported the scam to them almost a week ago but haven't even gotten a respose.

Hi All,

I go by the nickname of spectre.

I am a graphic designer by trade and I'm looking to both diversify my portfolio and maybe earn a few coins by offering my services. I think Bitcoin are an amazing idea and provide an opportunity for people who enjoy new exciting things to be on the bleeding edge of a fascinating economic experiment.

I hope that my time spent here will be enjoyable and I'm looking forward to reading the forums and taking part in discussions.

Today I will be representing the start of a completely anonymous exchange service, built in trust alone. So within merely 4 hours I expect to make a lot of purchases.

Hi everyone!

New to bitcoin, but think it's the perfect currency to sell my product! It's a herbal calming supplement, which is completely legal in the United States (and every other western country to my knowledge)! Once out of here I'll create a thread, give out some samples, list the ingredients, take pictures, etc. The whole deal.  Cool

See you all around the forum,

Kalm
