You really shouldn't spam for the sake of getting your account up to the requisite post count. Moderators may take action, just so you're aware.

hello im jereth currently daminer,
i find myself involved in all sorts of fun internet things and hope mining bitcoins will be as amusing and full of community spirit as some other endeavours

i am a amateur writer graphic artist and a it hardware monkey building repairing dismantling hardware
i have dabbled in acid reclamation of gold sculpting knitting and just about every other type of hobby you can think of

i am not a programmer or a developer of any sort,

i am friendly to those who are friendly to me and aggressive to those who are aggressive.
i look forward to spending time on the forums when i have things of interest or import to say.

however i do currently have 2 questions 1 regarding cashing out of bitcoins on sites like mt.gox the other on physical capabilitys of gpus

1. does mt.gox act as a clearing house holding funds from both partys until confirmed then send cash to seller can coins to buyer or are the just a forum. if so how do you know who to trust in selling

2. whats the estimated hash/s of a 7970

thanks
jereth

GUIMiner is still running, but i can log it to see my stats. i know he just did maintenance but usually i can log right back in after that.

Hey, it seems like getting out of the newbie box is going to take awhile.

I'm working on some BitCoin related websites that'll launch as soon as I acquire some more coin and find an area to promote it.

What kind of projects are you working on, or is it secret?

Not secret!

I've ran a 'Free Second Life Linden' site since 2007, and I'm basically going to open one up for BitCoins soon. Where users do things like watch youtube videos/ads, facebook LIKE pages, complete offers, register to sites, etc. and earn BitCoin. In addition to BitCoins users could also withdraw the earned rewards to Second Life, or redeem for amazon gift cards, etc. The site is done, minimum withdrawal is 0.01 BitCoins. I just need to buy/trade for more. Ive traded $L for some, but need more to be on the safe side. On average I'd assume most users would only be able to earn like 0.25 BTC, more only if they put in a lot of effort in 'Tasks'.

Other sites I was thinking about were an online casino where users could compete in skill based games to see who gets the highest amount of points. I'd also like to try my hand at a marketplace.

Those are probably the best three ideas I have. The codes all done from previous projects. Ive had lots of random virtual currency websites over the past few years, so its basically just reworking them for BitCoins and seeing if theres any interest.

Bitcoin Casinos will be massive, but it's not the ultimate future for Bitcoin.  Cyrpto-currency can do far greater things - but good luck!

initially joined forum to reply to a thread about gxmining.com, then i realised newbies cannot post until they meet the requirements.
well hopefully someone will see this here.
http://www.companiesmadesimple.com/company-services-registered-office.html
this is where gxmining office is registered and their support phone number is disconnected.
just didn't want anyone to waste 30BTC on a scam.
Thanks People.

Hi there, I'm magichair. Miner in the US trying to figure out what pools to join, currently mining on BTC Guild. I have a lot interest in the feasibility of moving bitcoin from the perceived scariness of anonymity to something people can trust. I'll be searching around for topics on that.
