Is there a safe wallet like how MEW works? I just bought some of these ANS and I'd ;like to store them on a safe wallet off line. Any recommendations from anyone who had been with ANS for a long time?

Downloaded the new NEO windows wallet, copied the chain from Antshares to NEO, synced straight away. How do I get my Antshares to the NEO wallet? Do I make a new address in NEO and then send my Antshares to the new NEO address? Also what happens to my Ancoins in my Antshares wallet? Do they go along with my Antshares to the NEO wallet and become NEO-GAS? Thanks in advance. Don't want to mess this up so asking first
Just open your original wallet .db3 file with the new NEO GUI. It works fine that way. Tested it myself. --------------------------------------------- I dont see any Neo wallet ? still antshare no ? where did you download it ?!
The introduction of the new website took some more time and with it, clear directions to the new wallet at the website. The new NEO Reddit absolutely should be your central place for NEO information: https://www.reddit.com/r/NEO/On the righthand side of that Reddit various NEO wallets are listed including new NEO wallet. At the NEO Reddit the NEO team will also be available on Thursday I think to answer questions from everyone who is around. I would like to know if there will be a 32 bit version of the wallet?

and the new neo wallet works fine!! Haven't used an ANS wallet before but have downloaded from github today and it's not working fine : I've gone to extract everything from the zip and at the 93% mark it's telling me "destination folder access denied / you need permission to perform this action". I'm the only person who uses this laptop / am the "administrator" so I'm pretty confused about what the problem might be. Has anyone had this problem come up before?.. Thats definitely a local issue. Make sure your user has the right persmissions. Sometimes admin users still need to be granted permissions Thanks yes looks like the user account was corrupted. I now have the wallet installed and it is...building? Is that the correct term? Right now the numbers are at 46297 / 900000 ...the large number is steadily increasing but the 46297 hasn't changed for a long time. Is this what it's supposed to do? And...can anyone give me a ballpark figure for how long it takes to finish doing whatever it is it's doing?.. Thanks for all the help on here - it's much appreciated.

ANS is looking most promising seeing it performance at exchanges in comparison with other coins. I have bought after long thinking as I expect is going over 0.0035 again within couple of days. It has been most profit coin for many people for months now.

I would like to know if there will be a 32 bit version of the wallet?
I have an x64 and an x86 folder in my new NEO GUI and old AntsharesCore GUI, so I assume both the 32 bit and the 64 bit versions already exist. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thanks yes looks like the user account was corrupted. I now have the wallet installed and it is...building? Is that the correct term? Right now the numbers are at 46297 / 900000 ...the large number is steadily increasing but the 46297 hasn't changed for a long time. Is this what it's supposed to do? The last number will increase first to probably around 1180000 and when that last number has reached the final block, the first number will start to increase to the same number as the last. The entire process can take a long time (as in an entire day until the light wallets are developed), but can do the following to speed up the the synchronization process significantly: https://www.reddit.com/r/NEO/comments/6p7fk1/tutorial_how_to_speedup_neo_blockchain/

NEO needs a very good wallet .. Easy to use and functional. When I see ARK and when I look NEO .. There is a world of difference! And yet it is the same technology in DPOS

To make any transaction with NEO you need GAS as I understood. You can get GAS by holding NEO, but you need a lot of time to get it. So if i send NEO from Bittrex to my wallet, i couldnt return NEO because i dont have any GAS?
No. You can send ANS without ANC. I understood that gas (ANC) will be used in future

The last number will increase first to probably around 1180000 and when that last number has reached the final block, the first number will start to increase to the same number as the last. ... Just to add to that, I've sometimes experienced the left number 'hanging up' for a while. It usually sorts itself out eventually, but I've found that restarting the wallet also kicks it into line. (This is more relevant to when you open the wallet for the first time in a day or two, as opposed to when you're syncing from 0 for the first time--for that you'd be better off using the bootstrap link Ashara posted.)

I have come across with this at the time I was reading a roadmap for wings platform . It always come as a mysterious asset . Though its price is tempting , I cant really get into my portfolio aside from it is now too high for me , It really does not sync with my understanding.

I would be there to see what is being discussed in upcoming session of question and answers. It is nice as there is lot of time to make availability there at Reddit. This is a chance to clear some more things as my expectation is to see lot interesting things to be asked and get answers for them.

As good news keep coming from the development side, why the price is still falling? Is it still too far from real usage?

Bitcoin greatly influences the price of most cryptocurrencies. If Bitcoin goes up, most cryptos go up. If Bitcoin goes down, most cryptos go down. Currently Bitcoin has uncertainty due to the 1st of August debacle and its impending fork (called Bitcoin Cash) and that is felt across the entire market. The irony is that NEO with its delegated Byzantine Fault Tolerance consensus system cannot fork, so it would actually be a perfect selling point for NEO to people who do not like the uncertainty and lowered credibility that goes with forking. Nevertheless NEO is affected by Bitcoin's issues all the same until NEO has become large enough to not be affected by other cryptocurrencies.

The new brand and logo look amazing! Can't wait to see that lime-neon-green N symbol on my blockfolio app. Will make everything else look dull in comparison....

If you lost the password of you wallet; I think that you can't recover it but if have the private key of your address, you can import it in a new wallet.
