hi,
i have 6x 1060 gtx 6gt rig on MSİ Z270A-PRO
i get 25 mhs from 4 cards, other 2 cards gives 20 mhs. clock settings are same. OS is win 10, i am using claymores miner. Any suggestions?
hello again, i checked cable connections, checked psu, all are correct. I changed os to ethos sat up again, hashrates are same. still 2 cards gives 20mhs, 4 cards gives 25 mhs. I realized something, near 4 cards written name that GTX 1060 6GT, other 2 cards written name GTX 1060 6GT Rev. 2. what is differences between them, how can i fix it?

Tried to search on different topics and blogs and couldn't find the exact results.
So, what is the hashrate of GTX 1060 on different algos? Especially on Ether.
it is depend on some parameters, I use windos 10 and my hash rate is around 18-27.5 MH/s. what is your hashrate? more than this or your hashrate low than this?

Try to read this thread, this is well explained It is 99,99% because memory chips on card. Best hashrate gives samsung memory (up to 25MH/S), then micron (up to 23MH/S) and the worst is hynix (up to 19-20 MH/S). You can check memory brand using GPU-Z.

thinking to get one more card so any suggestions ? PNY 1060 6GB OC GAMING Edition or Gigabyte Windforce OC or MSI GTX 1060 6GB OC V2 ?
in order to get more sols you should oveclock your memory as well, not only core, good and pro[erlu overclocked gtx1060 can pus around 330-340 sol/s, which is about 10% more then you have As you commented, I changed and tried in different ways & I got 325sol/s with Hynix memory core +180, mem: -150, power: 90%, on windows 7 with EWBF, but it crashes after 10-20mins (only programme is crashing not GPU).

Guys are you experience to hit 74c temperature with 30c room temperature with stock settings and 100% fan? My card is MSI 1060 6gb armor OC edition but the temp is too high compare to my other cards like 1080ti super jetstream and 1070 dual oc.. I hope someone could give me a tip for OC settings with good hashrate for zcash or ethereum dual mining.. thinking to get one more card so any suggestions ? I think better to try change the negative to positive i always experience the msi oc software hang or crashes. try to use the + in memory clock instead..

Just curious, when you guys get your average SOLs, do you get it from your mining software or the mining pool site?

Yes I have same experience too My card Zotac 1060 3Gb temp hit 71C with stock setting, and compare to my EVGA 1070 SC juts hit 60C. I dont know whats wrong with 1060 why generate so much heat. Now after OC a little bit and set fan to 80% power limit 70% temp hit 62C

Both. I use the software to tweak until I'm happy then compare to the pool stats 1-2 days later.

guys, need some advice.. recently i switched few of my 1060s with Samsung memory to ETH+keccak and doing abt 170mh/s per claymore, but actual hashrate on ethermine is only around 140 mh/s. actual daily income around the same as WTM shows.
Should I worry abt it and try another pool?

Go by income, not site hashrate.

When one or more cards hit 53-54 degrees, system is instable and I get "gpu clock are too low" Memory Clock : +775 (Micron memory)
IMHO, memory clock for micron very high. Try range 500 - 700. If its stable adjust core clock by +50 up to 250.

4 card have samsung memory with small latency and 2 new have hynix memory with large latency. Only change cards.

If ETH is already POS. What coin are you going to mine? is the profit somehow similar when mining ETH? I can sense that Its too late to enter mining altcoin specially when ETH goes POS. Theres nothing more profitable rather than ETH And the majority of the miners are on ETH. hmmm

Hi a few days ago I have assembled a rig with 7 Asus 1060 Dual OC 3gb, Samsung memory. Got lucky with the memory since I got the cards from 2 different vendors.
I am getting good results with Claymore 10.6 and Phoenix miners, with both at about 25.6 Mhs at 53/60 Celsius (room temp 24 celsius) and 653W at the wall. Ether + Sia 24.5mhs and 145Mhs for Sia -dcri 18
I am using MSI After Burner
Power Limits 70 Temp 75 Core Clock +107 Memory Clock 918 Fan 58%
Mother Board AsusRock h110 BTC Pro
I have to say it was a fairly easy set up to make, the cards were all immediately recognized by the system, just installed the drivers and did the tweaks on After Burner after finding them with a quick google search. Run the miner... done! That was it.
Compared to all the tweakings and trouble shooting I had to go through setting up a rig with the Vegas this one was a breeze.
Cheers
Congrats on the silicon lottery results! But please remember it is barely worth dual mining at the moment because the available algos now have ASICS mining them. Hi, thank you for the tip. Actually I stopped dual mining right after my initial test. I am just doing ethereum at Nanopool and sometime Nicehash if it is more profitable. Just wondering if also SIA coin can be mined with ASICS.
