The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Did you use any mod miner or did you overclock your 1060? If overclock, do you mind to share your settings?

Mine at 11mh/s with ccminer and 16mh/s with palginmod ccminer. I heard that krnlx mod version run better, but no windows binary to test yet.

Hi all,

Thought I'd share my thoughts on this thread, I've got a mixed 6 x GTX1060 rig dual mining (3 x MSI gaming x), (3 x EVGA 1060), combined ETH 143HMs, and SIA 1445MHs, dual mining with claymore v9.8. I've found that the dual mining performance of the MSI gaming x cards is amazing, comparable to the RX480 when mining for SIA. I have an RX480 card with modded bios and the SIA hashrate is about the same as the gaming X cards, the GTX1060 is actually slightly faster truth be told on SIA. These are OC'd I use the nvidia inspector tool with an OC batch script on the command line. If anyone needs any help with this on their 1060's drop me a line.

you can get a rx480 doing more if you put a higher core speed. maybe your bios is a low power one. how much is your 1060 rig getting from the wall?

Good performance, but if you use krnlx mod, you can get 1 or 2 MH/s extra. BTW, I have quit signatum mining because rewards reduced.

Sure! Would love your help to get those settings. I'm running 8 x 1060's pulling 21.0 mh/s for eth on a dual mine with decred. Power is 80%. Memory could go a bit higher but not much.

I've been reading a lot of pages here... Thinking about switching to eth mining and buy digibytes afterwhile instead of mining digibyte directly.

I'm mining at around 125 watts / card ( really high, how you guys can mine at 80-85 watts ? ) , power consumption of 82%, core memory + 50. Using CCminer 2.0, windows 10.

I have as well some effective hashrate problems, see ;

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2074862.msg20730275#msg20730275

Tomorrow i'll mine Eth and compare my stats to yours to see how its going.

If anyone got a solution for me in the meantime, I would really, really appreciate it.

Hi all,

Well I've placed my OC script here:

https://pastebin.com/kjJh1BC6

Uses nvidia inspector with the settings I use 650W at the wall with >140MHs and >1445MHs SIA dual mining. The performance of claymore v9.8 is significantly better than v9.7 dual mining. The RX480 I have (asus strix rx480) is beaten by the msi gaming X cards, but other rx480 cards maybe better. Just comparing what I use.

Have fun tuning!

With the current price, the 1060 is the most interesting one. I don't see any better alternative so far as AMD cards are nowhere to be found at a reasonable price.

Fellas one detail yet to be mentioned is that 1060 3GB have 9 computation units, while the 6GB have 10 computation units. The 3GB model is running at 20mhs after mem oc and 6GB at 25mhs.

1 more computation unit and 5mhs difference? 1070s have 15 computation units and crunches at 32-33mhs, still wondering why the hashdrop on 1060 3GB.

The 3GB model i am using is Gigabyte dual windforce and the 6GB is Asus dual oc, however the case with other 3GB could be different as there are reports of 24mhs on some 3GB cards.

There is your answer in bold.

My 5 cards draw 350W from the wall, which comes down to about 70W, minus the CPU and other parts of the computer, so the real wall power draw is less than 70W per card.
I run +600 memory and 55% power consumption. Downclock your GPU as much as possible.
But I have quit mining Ethereum. It's good however for people with high power cost (me, I just don't care, I mine coins which are cheap now and have potential to go x10 in the future, giving me x10 proft).

I add one 1060 for the first time today to my rigs. I'm getting 21MH/s ETH, 90W on the wall dual mining DCR. Lowered the power to 80% and increased memory 500MHz.
