Hashes on Neoscrypt?

on 1060 3gb

Settings?
Miners?
Memory Type?
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Mining Nicehash:

Neoscrypt: 4.66 MH/s (775.73 per card)
Equihash: 1850 Sol/s (312 Per card)  Except the limp dick lagging 50-100 Sol/s behind the rest, Im lookin at you Nicehash, the card mines fine on everything else.

Hi guys, I'm looking at getting the Gigabyte 1060 Gaming (GV-N1060G1-GAMING-3GD) but only the 3GB version.

Is there a diff in the hashrate of the 3gb and 6gb 1060's? I know about the possible DAG limit in the future, I'll just mine other coins then. For now I just want to know what hash rate can be achieved with this card?

Its more than half the price of 1070's where I live, but does produce more than half the hashing power...?

My 1060 3gbs get ~280sol/s ZEC or ~22MH/s ETH. My 1070s get ~450sol/s or ~30MH/s. So something like 60-70% of the hashing power for half the price!

The only reason I have the 1070s is they were more affordable when I setup my first rigs. Otherwise I'd be all 1060s.

Not sure about the diff between 3gb & 6gb though.

Thanks, it's comforting to know you get those rates with the 3GB version.

Any P106 or 1060 6G owners has any dual mining speeds with Claymore 9.8/ 10.0?

I have learned this the hard way on 1060 3gb.  I went exploring and bought 5 different brand/type cards hoping to find some Samsung.  All are Hynix and all hash Eth at 18-19 or less in the case of the Zotac.  Is there a more profitable coin you guys have found for this type of card?

I dont know if its better to buy rx 580 4gb nitro+ for 279€ or trust on gtx 1060 3gb gigabyte for 223€

which gtx 1060 models are the best for dual coin?

Myriad-Groestl.

Low mem clock ( -275 )
High core clock ( + 110 )
75% power usage
No volt mod.

49 MH/s x 7 1060 x 6 GB ( EVGA )
What miner?

CCminer Klaust version

8.12
------------- fix Myriad-Groestl speed bug  --------------

I have a little problem though, one or 2 times a day, the miner continue to hash, but stop reflecting into my mining pool hub account., so I have to close the miner and open it back. I'll have to find another miner, but so far its the best I tried even if I have some troubles.
Have you tried ccminer v2.2 by tpruvot or 8.13 by Klaust? Thanks.

I tried 8.13 Klaust for 3 days in a row.

Tested 8.12 on a rig, and 8.13 on a single gpu card on another PC.

The problem still happened, at the same time, for my 2 rigs.

There is something wrong with the klaust version despised it gives the best hashrate.

I'll try the tpruvot version for the next 3 days and keep you up to date.

I'm running 7 msi gaming 1060 x 6g cards.
windows 10 anniversary edition
376.09 geforce driver
afterburner settings: +140 core clock, +950 mem clock.
dual mining eth/sia
only setting changed from default in miner: -dcri is set to 46
average effective hashrate for last 24 hours for eth according to ethermine.org is 167.7 MH/S (averaging 152.83 shares per hour)
calculated average hashrate for last 24 hours for sia according to nanopool.org is 2640.9 MH/S (averaging 61.7 shares per hour)
i'm calculating shares per hour by the info given in claymore (total shares divided by number of hours its been running). nanopool is reporting that i'm getting about 3 or slightly more times that number of shares of sia per hour.
rig drawing 1130 watts.

i just started running claymore 10. previous claymore did seem slightly more stable, but v10 has only been running for 23 hours.
a notable improvement with claymore 10 is that at 23 hours, i have 0 rejected shares of either eth or sia. I was getting 1 and rarely even a second rejected eth share every 1000 accepted shares with previous claymore.

any questions or tips/advice are appreciated.

Hey m8, there's something very wrong with your rig. I've 5x1060 6g doing 108MH/s ETH (dualmining DCR) with a power draw 630W. Do you think that 500W difference is acceptable by having just 2 more cards?
Is it profitable that way?

Guys, what is the difference between GTX 1060 6GB brands? The difference in price between Palit and Asus or Msi reaches USD 50-80, quite significant imo. Which of them will you recommend for mining of ETH on the farm of 40+ GPU?

Can you send me the link of that card ?

Every card that has a single fan, or has the word ''mini'' in it are really not recommended for mining.

Main reasons : They don't have a high resell value, their hashing power are lower than their counterparts + you may have a better long term profit if you go with the traditionnal 2 fan GPUs.

Another good stuff I found while mining and buying a few 1060, is that you want a 1060 card that has a 8 pin power connectors, instead of a 6 pins. Only in my myriad-groestl mining, I have around a 5 to 8 mhs difference when I use the cards that doesnt have the single fan or 6 pin power connector.

Hope it is helpful.

I have 3 of these hynix mem card that made my 8 GPU rig mine at different algorithm using 3 different miner.
I let my 3 hynix GTX1060 cards mine at zcash since it is more profitable than ethash algos (280-300 sol/s zcash vs 19MHs ethash).

anyone managed to hit +1000 mem clock OC? That's the Afterburner limit for Nvidia cards.

Currently on +750 and 25MH/s on Claymore 10.0
