which cards have the best chance for Samsung Memorys ?
Gigabyte, Asus, Evga etc. ?
What is your Exp. ?
i found some wired KFA2 or Palit ? what is with this Brand ...

one month ago I bought 6x EVGA 6g cards.

I received 4 of them that were Samsung, and 2 of them were hynix.

I've ordered 4 other EVGA a week a go that seem to have a 9g core clock instead of 6g core clock... I didn't made any test yet since I'm waiting to receive my gpu open air case frame. Was supposed to receive it september 15th and still didn't received it yet.

I'll make a test in the next hours on my normal comp with one of these and let you up to date.

Did you check the manufacturing date? Are they all the same?

I don't really know how I can check the manufacturing date, I looked at the box but saw nothing about it, however, I know that are on newegg since around 2 or 3 weeks only since I'm watching the 1060 daily fluctuating price.

I ordered them in a week interval, so it should be the same batch.

You may noticed that on the second picture, you can see the 9 gbps.

From the specs, it seem it's the memory cloak that has now 9 gbps instead of 6.

While I were mining testing Myriad Groestl, I could not saw a neat difference since that algorithm use core clock only, but on average, it is hashing a small bit more than my other 1060 cards.

I'll test ETH-DCR dual mining when I'll finally receive my gpu case ( gosh been almost a month already ) and will tweak them more.

Stock, I mine at around at 54-55 MH/s Myriad Groestl... Most of my other cards, stock, are around 50-52.

I'll have to test the EVGA overclocking program, could be another thing that could give better results since I mostly have EVGA 1060 6gb.

Hi, I got 270 mh/s ETH and 2.7 gh/s Pascal using 12x P106-100 and Claymore 10.0. Dont know how to find memory manufacturer under Linux.

Setting using 0 CC, +800 MC,  70C, PL no limit. Pretty stable so far.

Nice. Judging from those hashrates I'd assume samsung. There's no linux util to find out memory manufacturer. Booting into Windows from a USB would be way to go. I do that then write an S or M (luckily no H) on the metal bracket in sharpie so I can tell what's what if I move them around.

Hi Guys... new test for my mini rig on Claymore 10 + Afterburner (windows 10 64)

GPU0: MSI GTX 1060 Gaming X 6GB - Micron memory

Power: 76%
Temp: 63
Core Clock: -30
Memory clock: +620

--> Average 23.3 with 65°

GPU1: Gigabyte GTX 1060 Windforce OC 3GB - Samsung memory

Power: 66%
Temp: 63
Core Clock: -80
Memory clock: +1000

--> Average 25.2 with 70°

system seems to be stable. Now working on MSI with micron, just to push a little bit.

I talked to guys from store where I buy most of my cards and they said that 3GB version will only have hynix memory and 6GB version is a lottery on what you will get, so if you buy 3GB version better mine equihash or lbry with them as for eth they are simply waste of energy.

Hi all I'm planning setting up up a small rig using gtx 1060s but I can't decide over the 3gb or 6gb. I can see pros for both 3gb for price but 6gb for future proof as the dag file grows.
Also is there a definitive list of cards and hash sol rates for different cards

Hello.
I have 7 MSI GTX 1060 3G on Biostar TB250 and all 7 cards works fine (+800 MHZ SAMSUNG memory overclock) 170 MH/S (>24.2MH/S) at 620W power using Claymore 10 on Win 10 PRO/1703.

Have you ever try dual mining with ETH, maybe you can get more profit.

dual mine drop your hashrate!!! just mining eth dont happen

There are a couple different sites that come to mind:
1. http://www.mininghwcomparison.com
Lists a bunch of different cards, but site recently sold and doesn't load for me right now?

2. http://www.pyramidreviews.com/cryptocorner/mining-gpu-speed-and-price-comparison/
This site only lists the 1060 and 1070s right not, but it lists them based on $ per mH/s and shows what's available right now to buy

3. A host of sites that have a 'best for 2017' sort of list, but what I don't like is that they don't list any sources or overclocking details for how or where they get their hashing numbers, or they list a bunch of cards that aren't in stock anywhere (like the RX480)

Thank you wxxyz for a point in the right direction.
Like you were saying about out of stock cards that's pretty much all I find stuff about rx470s or everything at the other end of the scale with the 1080 ti. Think I'm just going to have to take the chance. Hope for Samsung memory and decent hash/sol rates.
