Disappointing Cry:  Asus Dual GTX 1060 3 GB, Hynix, stock bios, eth:Ubiq, 15 MH stock, 17.8 OC @67% power.  There is not a drop in MH with the drop in power.

Update your driver, or uninstall with GUU ( or DUU I dont remember ) then reinstall ur driver back, it should solve the problem.

so drivers will fix the Hynix memory problem?

With Nvidia, memory type are not relevant as the 4xx and 5xx AMD series.

Usually when you have a strangely low hashrate, it is highly related to driver issues.

Try to uninstall them first with the program quote above, install latest driver, and try back in stock mode. We will see how it goes after that.
It seems that you just have no experience with nvidia 1060. The difference between samsung and micron/hynix on memory intensive algos is huge: 19vs25 in Eth

Yes, samsung memory is much much better than hynix especially in mining. Memory brand does matter for nvidia cards.

Ok for memory type... but befonre any buying it is impossible for forecast which memory you will find... or? or some brands (MSI or ASUS or...) can manage better the memory manufacturer? I'm searcing for an 6GB with Samsung if it possible, right now in my region, Italy, GTX1060 6GB are very expensive, expecially with dual fan (single fan not considered)... I'm plan for MSI gaming X 6GB or Gigabyte Windforce OC 6GB... (actually I've on board a Gigabyte WF OC 3GB with Samsung), but really really worried about memory type... If some of you had expenrience just to advise, you're welcome... I've read a lot of pages of this topic, but it is really difficult to provide solution... So.. any advice is very welcome!

You're on a witch hunt that's not going to be successful.

There is no way to know beforehand which memory you'll get. Best is to buy one card, test it, and if you're happy go back and buy more from the same shop.

I've seen MSI 1060's 3GB with Hynix memory (getting 20-21mhs).
I've seen people recommend 6GB because the likelihood of Micron or Samsung memory is better (but its much more expensive).

True. I'm mining Myriad-Groestl with my 7 1060 and dual mining with my 3x580 Hynix. I didn't take time to check which brand of memory was with my 1060s since I'm quite satisfied with the Hashrate.

I'm kinda curious though, gonna check it in the meantime, I'm mining since around a month so...Guess I still have a lot to learn.

Is Myriad-Groestl profitable to mine, or are you doing it for long term keeping?

I have the following ;

GPU 0 : Micron
GPU 1 : Samsung
GPU 2 : Samsung
GPU 3 : Samsung
GPU 4 : Samsung
GPU 5 : Micron

I'm around -i 25, can't go higher, do you think I can make something like : -i 25,28,28,28,28,25 ?

Not exactly sure what more I can do even if it's a samsung memory for the 1060 while mining Myriad-Groestl. I only know about the 580s about gpu bios modding.

Are you not overclocking? Try running on stock standard and also make sure the cards don't overheat

GTX 1060 3GB - OC 60% TDP 17Mh/s eth. I am sure I should be able to squeeze a bit more, only got the card a few days ago.

Im sure you will be able to squeeze more, I think the 1060 3GB gets a bad rap.  Even with the Hynix memory it will do 295 Sols/s while the 1060 6GB will do 315 Sol/s for $80 -$100 more per card USD.     OC seems to be right on par with the 6GB Micron memory as well, I had both 3 and 6GB versions of the card crashing right around the same OC settings.    I understand the 3GB limitations with ETH DAG and I understand Hynix isnt the best memory you can get but for the money the 3GB card is some of the cheapest hashing power you can buy right now.

I'm using 4 GTX 1060 6Gb (3 Zotac Amp! and 1 KFA2), overclock by Afterburner (+80 forpower, +900 for memory, 70% for fan)
Claymore v10.0 client with ETH+DCR algorithm

I have 93 MH/s (about 23 MH/s by card).

GIGABYTE GA Z270P D3 + G4400 + HyperX 4GB Fury DDR4 2400MHz +OCZ SSD + 900W PSU
4x MSI GEFORCE GTX 1060 AERO ITX 6G OC
Win7 64bit, latest drivers, latest Claymore (Eth only, no dual)

Rate: 96.5-97 Mh/s (24-24.3 Mh/s per card)
Power limit: 63
Core: -115
Memory: +800
Fan: 68%
Power draw: ~75 per card (by Afterburner)
Temp: 60C, 43C, 47C, 54C (Ambient 24C)

On lower power limit and core speed, the hash rate was less steady. It started to drop to the 23-23.5 Mh/s territory once in a while.
The temp is not the best because 3 cards are plugged into the MoBo and only one is separated on a riser.

Rate: 97.1-97,9 Mh/s (24.25-24.5 Mh/s per card)
Power limit: 66
Core: -100
Memory: +850
Fan: 73%
Power draw: ~75 per card (by Afterburner)
Temp: 60C, 43C, 47C, 54C (Ambient 24C)
