the instructions are in the post you quoted.

download GPUz and look there

Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti
A brilliant, yet expensive, GPU for mining Wink

Yes. These cards fire !!! Very good, but still profitable in price-quality take 1063! Their only disadvantage is that they occupy 3 times more space, and the straps are more necessary, but in general, the payback is higher for them;) Therefore, here the taste and color ...

I'm getting just 19,5 with my 3gb card.

ethOS 1.2.9 - using ethminer (claymore gets the same hashrate, but ethminer is free)

core 1600
mem 4800
pwr 80
fan 50

got the same results in windows 10 (switched this card to ethos because of DAG size issues with 3GB cards on win10)

card has Samsung memory, i'm betting your 1060 has hynix mem. you need micron or samsung. my other 1060s are all micron 6gb models and they do 24-24.5 MH

i am mining ethereum with my 18x 1060 3gb as well with windows 10 and have no problem. claymore 11.6 fixed all problems and my rigs work perfect and speed is impressive. devfee is 0 for 3gb cards  Grin Grin Grin Grin

I can't mine with 1060 3gb cards - windows 7...Is there some issue with windows 7 if you say you mine with no problems on win 10?

my poolside calculated hashrate disagrees with you.

this card is in a system with another GTX 1060 6GB (also ASUS dual) that does about 23.x MH (Micron mem, 4400MHz).

total speed reported by ethos: 48.9 MH/s
calculated poolside hashrate (which is based on ACCEPTED VALID shares):
3hr average - 47.2MH
6hr average - 47.6MH
12hr average - 49.3MH

Keep being a hater

it would help to know what 1060s exactly you have. there is a WIDE range of hashrates from 1060s.

what brand?
what model?
what size memory?
what brand memory? (Samsung/Micron/Hynix?)

What is the best coin to hash with 3x Nvidia GTX 1080ti, I have my eyes on Zcash but vertcoin on the other hand looks kind of a coin for long term HODL

I have 9 1060 3GB OC that is averaging 210 Mh/s day after day (all of them peaks at 24.5).
SMOS with -100 core +1600 mem and max 75W.
They can give a little more at 80W or above but this is so stable.
Temps are 48-55 C depending on which end of the rig.
All cards bought to extreme overprice Jan-Feb -18. A friend have some "identical cards" bought in -17 which only can get 19.5. No windows available to figure out the memory, but that does not matter, the result speaks for itself (ROI in 2020...).
At "similar" setting the same 9 cards give 2640 Sols/s (+140 core +1400 mem, 80W). A little hotter, but equihash want more core.

Hey mates,

I'm about to buy another rig with several gtx 1060, but I don´t know if it´s better option to spend a bit more on 6 gb models or buy 3 gb models..... because of future dag epoch so we couldn´t mine eth....

I doubt between these cards:

- msi gaming gtx 1060 x 3gb: 268€
- zotac amp gtx 1060 6 gb: 300€
- gigabyte aorus gtx 1060 6 gb: 332€

What option would you choose right now? I'm thinking about mining eth and zec.

Regards and thanks in advance

3GB cards have about 1 year of life on ETH, after that switch to something else.
However, the main thing you should be interested in is what brand of memory
each of them uses.

Samsung does 24-25, Micron does 23-24, Hynix does 18-20Mh/s

but after a year, 3 gb cards will be also valid for mining zec, right??

so, I suppose that if I receive a hynix card, I should return it ASAP xD
