You are frankly right. No competitor, it is the mother of all coins, its movement influences other tokens, now that bitcoin is bullish, altcoins are bowing to its trend., no one breath save the king.

As an update to this thread, that may no longer be true, things are changing very fast, ethereum will offer some good competition to bitcoin

Bitcoin is the king and have no competition for now. Bitcoin controls all other altcoins and dictates the movement of the cryptocurrency market. Currently it dominates the market and almost every coin in the market have a BTC trading pair. But let's not forget that this is crypto and anything can happen. Though i don't see it happening anytime soon. For now there is no rival against bitcoin.

Absolutely agree with you. Bitcoin has no worthy competitors and will never be. Maintain a better original bitcoin and help it get better, as this will allow the crypto currency market to develop much faster.

Of course, bitcoin has no competition. Bitcoin is a digital currency that needs some support from us to improve it and discover for more ideas about bitcoin.
It is true that bitcoin has no competition because we all know that no one crypto can able to beat or replace biitcoin as a being the crypto and i am confident that bitcoin will always be number on the market because a lot of investor is still putting there money with bitcoin. |

Bitcoin has competition... Personally Digibyte is underrated and much better than Bitcoin, it's an older coin that really hasn't gotten its recognition it deserves but the tech behind it is already much better than Bitcoin and it's "lightning" network. I'm sure people on this part of the forum shill bitcoin because well it is bitcoin talk. There are coins out there that are better, bitcoin will just be used a store of value, many people accept it as payment's but we all know the truth in the fee's and confirmation time.. first coin and last coin.. doesn't mean other blockchains are not "better"

Great! this is already happening almost everywhere. World governments are confused as to accept bitcoin and crypto in general or not but the fact is that they will eventually accept bitcoin one day and that will be the day bitcoin will get to $1m per coin. They fear to see this happen but it will happen. |

For now, Bitcoin is strictly ahead of every other cryptocurrency in the market and this may continue for another 10 years or even more. The only coin that may be able to close up the gap on time is Ethereum.

Try not to concur with that. Bitcoin has contenders. The issue is that the vast majority of them picked the wrong method to endeavor to achieve Bitcoin.
So far I have not seen any PoS coin achieving a market top close to the Bitcoin showcase top, or possibly stay stable in the market for a long time, and still, at the end of the day individuals continue picking a similar way to make new cryptos.

Looking at the difference Bitcoin has given the other coins in the market properties, one can conclude that Bitcoin has no tight competitor in terms of market cap and volume. Bitcoin has gained the trust of the people more than any other coin.

Bitcoin is the most popular but there is still competition, however it's clearly evident that bitcoin is dominating them all. Hence, we have to be careful in investing altcoins because they would not move well if bitcoin will not be performing well, altcoins depend on bitcoin. |

That's not true.. A year before you could say that. but right now bitcoin has some large scale competitor.. like ethereum,dash etc.. Till now bitcoin is the king. don't know how long it will remain

At the moment, it has no competition and I forsee it remaining this way for a long time. Bitcoin is the premier cryptocurrency and the rest look up to it for ideas and improvements hence it will have no competition until a better cryptocurrency arrives and I don't think it's in the near future.
Well i agree because bitcoin is have no one compete bitcoin is number crypto currency so i expect bitcoin is have no competition. |

When people compare bitcoin with Litecoin, Or ETH to BTC, I just got angry, Because I really don't like to compare other coins with Bitcoin. Bitcoin is the base of the cryptocurrency. Every altcoin is depended on bitcoin, if bitcoin can't grow then never ever Altcoins can grow high. So, why they compare other coins with bitcoin! Bitcoin has no competition.

There are other coins try to compete bitcoin, but i think bitcoin is unbeatable because it built a legacy here in crypto world but we cannot avoid others to do their sides cos its business..

I agree with your opinion.
Bitcoin is a strong coin for now.
I'm sure Bitcoin will be the only coin that can survive in the future.
Currently, there are a lot of altcoins growing in the Cryptocurrency market but I do not think the altcoin will beat Bitcoin because Bitcoin is the oldest coin and Bitcoin is the only coin with good technology and no coin that can beat Bitcoin.
