As per their white paper, Iconomi will be investing the funds they received from ICO into various established coins and upcoming projects that has the potential to grow. They do balance the portfolio every month and I heard they are planning to pay weekly dividends. Did you read the white paper or the OP?

There's going to be 2 funds. Other is open for everyone to invest, other is only for people who participated in ICO.
ICONOMI is also going to build and release a fund management platform where anyone can be a fund manager to their customers. Think it as eToro but for crypto.

You do! Its an ETH token. How do you keep your ETH safe? The index and formulae are posted, and the platform boasts full transparency.
They also NEVER GUARANTEED PROFIT.  I challenge you to find that statement.
They are building an asset management platform with several different management fund choices.
Like it or not, this is a VERY popular way of investing, and Iconomi is bringing it to crypto.

Just look at other coins which were traded before launch, like LISK.  It was traded for 4-5 dollars, and now it's nowhere compared to that.
