You must provide evidence that shows that you either understand more about Bitcoin than the average newbie.

Hi. I'd very much like to be whitelisted please. I've been a contributor to bitcoin at github.com for a few months now, and also a fairly regularly visitor to the irc channels. I was a total newbie some months ago, so kudos to gmaxwell for his patience in answering all my newbie questions on IRC. I consider my newbieness was lost on IRC rather than on this forum, so it would be nice not to have to pretend to be a newbie now that I'm no longer one.

I consider myself now more knowledgeable about bitcoins than the average newbie, and have even managed to provide some additions to bitcoind that have been pulled and identified some bugs in the existing code.

I still consider myself a newbie to "git" though Smiley

Thanks, Ed / Rebroad

Howdy.
I'm an FPGA developer and an FPGA bitcoin miner.  I'm currently running a few hundred MH/sec on 3 FPGA boards.  I'd like to be able to post to the mining hardware section of the board and I'm not interested in making "me too" posts in the newbie section to become a junior member.  I don't take the time to post unless I've got something meaningful to add.

I've ported bitcoin miner firmware to two different FPGA boards as well as made updates/improvements to the python interface scripts.

Here's one of my FPGA boards (175 MH/sec):

I wish to be whitelisted if possible. I already know much about bitcoin, the blockchain, mtgox, glbse, the early days of the 10K pizza, the mybitcoin fiasco, etc.

My interest here is in building financial services related to bitcoin - specifically, in terms of forecasting and investments. I haven't decided what form this will take yet; right now I am still in the research phase in terms of developing a financial "ubermodel" that can correctly predict a profitable asset class ( as well as as outperforming asset within an asset class ) at any point in history. It is a long-term model designed to be utilized without having to computerize the execution side ( that is, it can be easily distributed and utilized as a simple newsletter due to low portfolio turnover ). I hope to extend my research into the GLBSE as it grows s.t. I can eventually recommend investment portfolios in this area.

Send me a private message if you have any other questions. I am also willing to donate BTC to the forums in the near future if that will expedite the process. Thanks!

I'd like to be whitelisted.
I know quite a bit about bitcoins. I witnessed the rise of Bitcoins, and was interested in doing something but never got around to it. My friend and I are in the process of building a rig in his garage. It's going to have a bunch of computers hooked up with Bitcoin and a VNC client so we can control them from a hub computer.
I want to be whitelisted because I have a few questions about the physical components of rigs, along with management systems and pooling.
As I'm sure you can tell, I'm not a nine-year-old-troll with schizophrenia. I can type maturely, and communicate without being a jackass.
So yeah.
Cool.

Hi,

I'd like to request a whitelist out of just the newbie section.  Long time lurker, new to the forums.  I have had successful trades on #bitcoin-otc with members, and am interested in posting in the mining section. (Looking to get into a small amount of mining with my current rig).

Thanks!

Hi,

I would like to be whitelisted.  I have traded on the #bitcoin-otc channel (http://bitcoin-otc.com/viewratingdetail.php?nick=cyocum&sign=ANY&type=RECV) and I would like to sell some books on the marketplace.

Thanks!

I would like to move out from here, I have only made 5 posts but they are regarding a BAMT issue. You could do some research, I am pretty known on other forums. I am also a Moderator on a forum(won't post link).

I'm quite trusted in SourceOP trading site, my voucher thread: http://www.sourceop.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=36229

Thanks in advance, Wnd.

Whitelist request. I've been browsing the forum non-stop since I joined and I think I've capped out on all the info I can gain while being restricted to "newbie".

Thanks.

Whoa buddy. Buying and selling "buds"? As in marijuana? You know that that's illegal, right? Who do you think you are!

Requesting whitelist here.

History:
Even though I registered here recently, I spent some time on #bitcoin-otc last year, bought a game through there.
Mined off and on using my gaming machine since last year as well.

I'm looking to invest some bitcoin (in hand) but can't PM, until at least I make this post (if I understand the rules correctly).

hi, i need technical help with exporting my keys. my bitcoind is not connecting to a server and bitcoin-qt crashes with a 22db runrecovery error immediately upon starting. this is the only thing i have to post about right now and i would imagine it fits best in the tech support section. not getting any help so far in the newbies section.

thanks a bunch.

Hoping to be whitelisted so I can leave a +rep for this guy before I forget. I understand BTC, mining, the market, exchanges, etc., and am mostly only registering for the purposes of leaving rep (now and in the future).

While only freshly signed up, ive been an idler here for quite some time.

I would like the opportunity to contribute more in the FPGA thread and in the hardware threads about GPU undervolting to increase hash rates/watt etc.

I have no problem going through the newbie regime, just thought I might add a post here to expedite the process.

kind regards
