Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

I'm looking for assistance building pushpoold on FreeBSD. I have it successfully running in my Linux lab environment, but I would like to get it running on FreeBSD for my production environment. I spent the last few hours getting closer, but I would like to offer a BTC reward for help or support. I have read threads on this forum before, but I usually chat on bitcoin IRC channels on freenode. I'd like to be able to participate in the other forums without the posting 5 useless posts. Smiley

Thanks in advance.

Hello bitcointalk Admins!

The reason why i want to get out of the newbie section is basically because ive developed a simple poclbm GUI with some kind of "profile management".

I want to make it available to all the people on this forum because i think some people could probably make a use of it.

Besides, i'd also upload the source code so the users can be a 100% sure that the program is clean.

Have a nice day!

Goordon.

i'd like out please, too. i can't be bothered with browsing the newbie forum and most of the topics i'd like to reply to reside in the locked sections.  HALP!

I've been mining for a couple months, I've been reading these forums for quite some time also. I found a topic I wanted to respond to so I registered an account. I don't wish to create superfluous posts just to have access. Please whitelist me.  Undecided

I would very much like to be whitelisted so I can take part in the Economics/Speculation subforums. I have a degree in Economics, and honestly, the newbie forum is not the place for the kinds of questions and discussion I will be taking part in.

I can BS 5 posts if it makes someone happy, but I assume I'll just have to cut and paste my threads here into the more technical subforums anyway. TIA.
