Dear all,

I am new to the forum (writing that is) and just wanted to reply to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=41311.0 . I am the author of a python bot that excactly tried the arbitrage strategy mentioned in the comment and can certainly give some helpful input (actually this was the reason why I just registered). Please whitelist me.

Thanks!

I'd really like to be whitelisted so I can participate in the FPGA miner thread and suggest that their FPGA miner can be used with a low power ARM computer like the Dream Plug (~5W consumption) to keep power usage low.

I FEEL TRAPPED IN HERE!!!

The requirements (4 hours + 5 posts) really don't seem that hard to pull off, but I'm not a newbie on this stuff so I might as well use a post here to explain this!

http://bitcoin-otc.com/viewratingdetail.php?nick=currentB&sign=ANY&type=RECV

I could authenticate on IRC if necessary to prove that's me.

I am making some film related to economy and monetary systems. I understand technology and am currently look at making a piece on bitcoin, so being able to ask and take part in discussions here would be very useful.

Thanks,

I am an electrical engineer and would like to participate in the FPGA miner discussion. Its a fairly narrow field of interest so I don't expect to contribute enough posts in the newbie area to get out on that requirement alone.

I'm with the non-profit London Hackspace. We're organising a Bitcoin weekend of talks, discussions and workshops on 24/25 Sept in London and I'd like to post a call for contributions. (We already have a few good ones confirmed, PM me if you need details before whitelisting me.)

I'd like the chance to get whitelisted.  I've been reading on the 100% CPU usage issue, and would like to post my findings, but being a noob on the forum, can't.  Thanks.

Hi, maybe I haven't got five posts and 4 hours online, but I have questions with compile puddinpop's miners and I wanna ask him questions and propose my changes to his miner. I don't need to talk with newbies here, I'm not a spamer and newbie. Make me please access to write this post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3030.20

Been a long time lurker, I've read lots and lots about bitcoins, i have a few hundred bucks invested, and i also have been growing the hottest peppers in the world. I would like to get in the market place and try to hustle some of these peppers before they go bad.

i suppose if this doesn't work ill have to post nonesense to some noobs for a few hours and then im in right?

i know were trying to avoid FUD and spammers and the 'bitcoin will fail' crowd, but this is an obnoxious step for many a lurker.

thanks, and first peppers are free samples to get me some reviews.

Hello, I'm a long time lurker and would like the ability to expand my posts in the merchant areas. I have created secure websites in the past that were pci compliant and want to see if I can help anyone out. I am also looking to ask some questions about secure transactions to see how bitcoin will fit into php content management based backends. I have extended experience with virtual shopping carts and market services so I could answer questions in that area--including programming. Thank you.

Why does no one like it here in the newbie forum? It's pretty rad. I was thinking of posting two more times and then killing myself.
