Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Could I be whitelisted, please? I'd like to make a post in the miners software forum. I'd like to help with developing PHP extension for the cgminer - so any1 could do monitoring their rigs from anywhere. Thank you.

I've been looking for a very simple way to add a "Donate Bitcoin" button to my website.
Found various threads here but no solution.

So I invented my own way and wrote an article about how to get my "Donate Bitcoin"-Javascript button on your website.
Came here to post it in the various threads which asked for such a Button.

Here is the article:
http://leo.bogert.de/2012/02/22/simple-bitcoin-donate-button/

Here is a file uploaded to my webserver to validate my username:

Hi I am requested to be whitelisted. I have been mining with two 5870's OC and watercooled. Mild overclock only 50MHz plan on increasing that shortly so only mining at 800Mhashs. I first started on bitcoinpool and now I mine at btcguild. I would like to expand my operation and spend some of my earned bitcoins on more mining rigs but need access to the marketplace. Thanks

Hey, just submitting my whitelist request.

I've been mining for a few months on my Radeon HD 5770. Currently clocked at 935/300 (+60/-750 compared to stock) using Phoenix at roughly 200Mhash/s and running at a temp of 61C. I noticed someone put a bounty on a guide to get bitcoind running on CentOS and I happen to have a spare server laying around, so I figured I'd give it a shot in my free time. I'm also looking to trade some coin for goods on the marketplace at some point.

Thanks! :)

Please add me to the white-list. I've been extensively involved in the X6500 FPGA miner development and I'm sure fizzisist will vouch for me.
