Hey BTC Community -- I have been doing a deep dive on the BTC (and related crypto currency) economy now since early November last year, starting with simple web based mining to now progressing to porting bitcoind and soon Ecoinpool to FreeBSD.

I've worked my way up as an "unpaid minion" with the Ozcoin pool crew and have invested a significant amount of time helping keep their infrastructure stable (pre and post psj days), getting things back online after the hack, and now have been enhancing site and services for the past couple of months.

My near term goals are to finish building out a "pico vps" instance for others to clone that may become a good platform for "cloud wallet" -- individualized/secured wallets that act like a combo billpay/paypal system.  Currently working with MomentumVPS and BitVPS providers.

The next project after the "cloud wallet" is to build up a "pico vps" instance based on PowerDNS+namecoind so that others can begin building out the .bit DNS infrastructure.

I think I have lot to offer the rest of the community and would like to get sainted out of Noobville, in part because I don't really have time to feed the trolls in order to gen up a higher number of low or no-value posts.   Its ironic in a way that I have had some of the most interesting and insightful conversations with people one on one who otherwise come across as low brow 14-year boys who still live in their mothers basement - lol

In any event, please accept my petition.   Graet said he'd vouch for me (and no I didn't offer him my massively valuable collection of NMC to do it Wink

Fully
It would be great if LittleDuke could participate in our forum thread as he has been an integral part of Ozcoin staying online and is a valuable member of the team Smiley

Thanks in advance mods Cheesy

I would like to participate in the forums.  I have been in deep research mode for a few weeks now.

I just sent a 12 issue subscription off to BitCoin Magazine.  I have been attempting (with out success so far) sales at BitMit for a few weeks.  http://bitmit.net/en/trade/i/796-world-of-warcraft-60-day-pre-paid-subscription-card/seller_info

Thank-you.

Copying from the other post I made:
Moderators:  I would be grateful if you could move this to the Alternate Cryptocurrencies forum, and give me permission to post there.  I think the PDF I link below constitutes evidence that I "understand more about Bitcoin than the average newbie," as requested in the first post of the whitelist-request thread.  (See section 2.1 in particular.)

Hi, everyone.  In my spare time, I've been thinking about ways to incorporate arbitrary computation into the proof of work for a bitcoin-like blockchain-based cryptocurrency.  You can read about the design I've come up with here (click on the "Download" link in the top right-hand corner to view the PDF locally.)

I've given serious thought to this problem, but I am by no means an expert on any aspect of it, and I welcome all critical feedback on all aspects of my proposal.  In this thread I am mostly hoping for conversation about the flaws in the protocol I've described.  (E.g., I welcome conversation about security flaws or potentially perverse incentives created by the economic model I've proposed, I'm less interested in conversation about how the proof of work in bitcoin is already useful, or about David Graeber's ideas.)

Hello, I am a regular miner guy, have been around BTC for about a month now.
I've been reading a couple of threads that contained a lot of bullshit.
I ask you to white-list my username so I can let authors know when they are wrong.

Hello,
I'd like to participate more in the forums.  I'm a business owner who will be looking at implementing bitcoins in the near future.  I'd also like to start a couple projects geared towards bitcoins.  As I'm fascinated by the overall currency and believe it is here to stay Smiley

regards,
Brian

Hi, I'd like to be allowed in the forums.

I'll be offering PayPal <----> BitCoin exchanger service.

I accept PayPal payments and I'll be sending customer BitCoins.

All security steps will be taken and I have my own way of securing myself/dealing with potential scammers.

I think service like that will be very wanted over here so I can give it a try and see what we get out of it.

Best Regards,
dareq

Could I please be whitelisted ?

I have created the libcoin bitcoin library - see: https://github.com/ceptacle/libcoin/wiki and would like to share this on the forum. Further, I would like to be part of the discussion on bitcoin convention texas/sf and as I plan to go there it is very annoying that I cannot post...

Thanks!

Can I please be allowed to post on the main boards. I've read this forum since May of last year, but I've never felt the need to post until now.

I'd like to be able to post asking some clarification of the new Intersango fees.

Hello,

You can contact us directly https://intersango.com/contact.php.

Webchat works pretty well if you stay in the channel for a while.

May I please be be whitelisted? I have been mining for a few months already on bitminter, I would like to be able to post on a few topics concerning my pool, and try to sort out some technical issues that I am having.

Thank you

Hi,
Can I please get  out of here?  I'd like to contribute to the discussion on the San Francisco Bitcoin Conference, as I'm involved with a group that has been discussing doing a Northern-California Bitcoin Conference in the Napa Valley.

Hello there!

Just wanted to take this road and see if I could be fast tracked into being white listed. I am a small time bitminer who is trying to use some of his mined coin but is unable to contact some of the members in other forum sections. I would like to be able to post to their forum directly rather than try the PM game and hope I get noticed.

Thanks!
