Hi,

As of now I don't really have anything too informative to post on the forums, but I do have two amazon.co.uk gift that I'd like to sell. I read the other dudes amazon(.com)-thread and there seems to be demand for other amazon's gift cards too. In the future I will most likely have more of these to sell, and I believe it would be benefitial for everyone if I was allowed to sell there.

Thanks.

My proof that I know a lot about bitcoins is that I programmed my site on my own which handles bitcoin payments.

I would like to tell everyone about my site and I think the people in the gambling forum will like to see it.

My new site is http://btcmatrix.com and I am looking forward to showing everyone and launching.

Please do consider my request thankyo

Hi, would like to be whitelisted in the X6500 Custom FPGA Miner thread if possible. I have built an enclosure and would like to share my ideas.

Hello everyone.

So, I'm a student and RTL designer (FPGA stuff).  I've been learning about bitcoin recently, mining it, and developing my own BTC IP core for FPGAs, something with a dedicated controller.

Overall the unit is faster than any current FPGA BTC rig, and it's modular so it can be applied to the DE0 Nano all the way up to Stratix cores.
It uses (optionally) a microcontroller to manage getwork and queueing while the FPGA focuses on hashing.  I have my FPGA (stratix iv) running 3.6GH/s with optimized fpgaminer code, and am currently writing this original core: http://www.nonverba.org/nanominer.
Specs are up there, as well as some project information.

The core will be donationware, which is good news for y'all, however I need money to justify putting as much time in as is needed, so if you're interested in <1.15 $/MH/s on a cheap FPGA (clusterable for higher hashrates...), and far less on a high end FPGA, let me know!
I'm asking a $10 (or 3 BTC) donation for lifetime licensing to the core (it will be something I maintain, optimize, update with the new silicon every little while).
This entitles you to the source code, the binaries, and 1-on-1 support (as much as I can give it).  The timeframe totally depends on how much I can get donated, so please be generous!

I'm not doing this alone. Azelphur [he's on this forum] runs a pool server and can verify the 3.6GH/s I'm getting out of my stratix.
That URL again is: http://www.nonverba.org/nanominer

I figured this would be an okay way to show proof-of-understanding; once i'm approved I'll move this to it's own thread. Thanks all!

Glendon

Dear Bitcoin forums staff,

Please let me out of the newbie area. I've been mining for a few months now and have a fairly decent understanding of how GPU works / pooled mining as well as trading / selling BTC. I'm currently very interested in learning more about the FPGA mining movement and would like to being posting in some of the FPGA threads (x6500 / ztex). Thanks!

Hi,

I have lurked here (while not logged in) for many months now. I'd like to announce and discuss an open-source embedded BitCoin wallet which I have developed (see https://github.com/someone42/hardware-bitcoin-wallet ). I don't think that the newbie area is the best place to post about this.

I was wondering if I can get out of this newbie area since I would love to spread my charting experience on the speculation forum under economics and my last post should prove that I have substance to add to the discussion.

I've done quite a bit of reading and video watching but I will still remain rather quiet for a while unless it's about specific questions.

I totally understand this policy though.

i'd like to be promoted out of this usergroup, I've followed bitcoin for quite a long time now (and have even purchased an HIS 6950 off here with the help of bluefirecorp). I've been getting into litecoin quite heavily and would like to be able to post.

I browse bitcointalk at work quite a lot, but since i use proxies (read unsecure) i have difficulty racking up the 4 hours i need on here. I'm ok with not being promoted out of here, i can live with the rules, just wishing for more i guess... Wink

EDIT: woo!, thank you very much!

Greetings,

I wouldn't mind being whitelisted, if that seems appropriate.
It's only been a couple days since I've registered, but a whole lot more lurking and there are simply a lot more interesting topics to discuss outside the newbie area.

Thanks again, and happy mining!

I've made my 5 posts and have been hanging around here for 2 days, still in newbie status.

Would someone please whitelist me? Thanks very much.

Would appreciate a whitelist. I'm usually just lurking and simply search if I have a question. I just would like the ability to contribute if it comes up.

Regards,
JB

Hi,

I'd like out of newbie status! I've been mining for 6 months now and have just bought a pair of 7970s so I can help Con with cgminer testing and would like to be able to post in the cgminer thread.
