Hello,

I'm certainly not a Bitcoin expert, but I do understand a fair bit about it. I'm currently working on developing some physical Bitcoins similar to printcoins (www.printcoins.com) but hopefully a little bit more secure.

The reason I want access to other forums is to ask Casascius about his bitcoin holgrams, and to consider buying a share.

I hope you will consider my request, thank you.

-Razick

EDIT: Here's  my physical BTC prototype:

ACCOUNT RECOVERED 4/27/2020. Account was previously hacked sometime in 2017. Posts between 12/31/2016 and 4/27/2020 are NOT LEGITIMATE.

Hello,

Please whitelist me. I'd like to ask a question concerning a specific pool (Itzod) in th pool's official thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=25127). The question is actually about their PPS policy and share of risk between users of the pool. I've read description of the model on their official site and have searched the thread but haven't found an answer.

Thank you.

Instead of posting here, why not make 5 posts and wait 4 hours to be promoted? So much faster.

I have just started, but I am looking to buy some 7950s from a member in another forum. It looks like I cannot post in that forum until I pass some sort of test by hanging out in this forum. I will attempt to make some posts, but I hope that I am able to communicate with him before he sells them to someone else. I hope you will consider allowing me to actually join the forums. Apparently it takes 5 posts and 4 hours. Maybe that's not too bad. Either way this can't hurt.

Or you can PM that guy. Only 1 post is required for PM's. Do wait awhile (10-30 mins) if you still can't PM though, the automated upgrading system goes by slowly sometimes.

Please note: If you see "Jr. Member" by your name, you have already met the 5 posts and 4 hour requirements and don't need to post here. Additionally, after you meet the requirements, it can take up to 10 minutes for your account to be automatically upgraded.

I'd like to get whitelisted, at least for the Marketplace subforum. I've read about and seen how much of a pain it can be to get bitcoins using the popular exchanges such as Mtgox so I'd like to try to sell some things on the boards here to start out, 14 day Xbox Live codes, Mountain Dew Double XP Games, etc. I was trying to use Bitmit, but it seems like they don't have enough traffic yet. I also have a couple ebay accounts with hundreds of positive feedback I can PM on request.

I am a journalist who has just started reporting for Bitcoin Magazine. I would like to be allowed to post here.

I reported for a wall street trade publication today on BitInstant:

I reported on VC money the company has secured along with an update on why the BitInstant mastercard is held up. Story ran at a finance trade publication called Growth Capitalist - that covers new growth companies. It's behind a paywall but you might still be able to register for free.

I am a freelance financial journalist who covers wall street and have written for most major publications.

I'm not clear on how it counts "time", I've been logged in for large amounts of time, but haven't registered a ton of activity during those times (I load a couple threads in tabs and read them one tab at a time). Oh well, this is post #5.

I would love to be on the Whitelist.

I have started to trade as a broker to help people avoid putting their valuable information out to the exchanges.

I hold their identity with the upmost security.  I know what you're thinking and you can stop that.

I am here to help those who want to remain anonymous stay anonymous with their BTC.  I am being that sacrificial lamb to/for the good of the people that need and desire it.

I'm a huge fan and supporter of "tor projects" and the "idl".

I have traded with many of you and so far no complaints in which I will make sure there are none.

Thanks,
Adam

Four hours and 30 minutes logged. Third time's the charm and the final attempt if fails.
I also made a successful sale with b!z, I sold him a TF2 item and was gonna post in his thread about it having went flowingly without problems.

I want to sell digital goods (tf2 items for now) for bitcoins and that's my plan for advancing my own wealth and also the tf2 community isn't very familiar with bitcoins, so by trading there I would also introduce them to the concept improving the economy overall.

Am I now worthy?

I have already started mining with slush's pool and am using GUIminer right now.  I'm trying to switch over to phoenix because I have seen greater Mhash rates, but I can't seem to get it to work.  It won't recognize my phat2k kernel and though I've already posted the problem here in the newbie forum, I think I need an answer from the veterans.

I would really appreciate being whitelisted.  It's in place to prevent bots, spammers, and scammers.  I'm none of the above and have a previous account that I no longer wish to be associated with.  Going through this process a second time is not enjoyable.

If you have a need to be allowed into the forum beyond before you have completed the required 5 posts and 4 hours logged in, please post your request here. You must provide evidence that shows that you either understand more about Bitcoin than the average newbie, or that what you want to post can only be done in another forum. Reasons such as "I'm not a spammer" will be ignored. Try to be as specific as possible.

If you learned of Bitcoin through a currently established member of this forum who feels that you are ready to be released to the rest of the forum or who is willing to mentor you, or if you want to make a new account that is separate from your already-existing established forum account, have the existing user/account vouch for you after you have made your request.

If you are asking to be whitelisted because you are having a problem with something, we generally look more favorably on people who have already attempted to solve their issue in the Newbie board. Even if you end up not qualifying for preemptive whitelisting, your post might still qualify for being moved to another board if you have received insufficient help after a few hours.

Also:
- You must have made one post in order to send PMs.
- You need 10 posts to put a link in your signature.

Please note: If you see "Jr. Member" by your name, you have already met the 5 posts and 4 hour requirements and don't need to post here. Additionally, after you meet the requirements, it can take up to 10 minutes for your account to be automatically upgraded.

I've been reading up on bitcoins for years and am quite familiar with both it's services, history, and have accepted bitcoins officially since this year. Also I have a bit-pay and Mt gox account, have used bitinstant and coinapult not to mention have ordered using bitcoins several times.

PS. I've spent just today Total time logged in: 1 hours and 36 minutes. I have spent well over 24 hours total reading this forum this year.
