Hello! I'd like access to post on the normal areas of the forum. I've made my newbie post limit, and also have been logged into the site for almost a full day (and it only shows 2.5 hours on SMF stats), but my limit has not been lifted yet. Thanks to anyone who can help!

I've been involved in bitcoin for over a year and have been reading on bitcointalk for much of that time (first coming to read about the pirate BS this summer). I finally have some ideas I would like to post and discuss with other bitcoiners (see https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=140786) so I've stopped just lurking. I have the requisite posts but not the requisite time logged. I'd like to be able to move this discussion of how to build strong, local, closed-loop bitcoin economies out to the main community. Thanks for considering!

hi, i would like to be whitelisted! i definitely have been logged in for more than 4 hours (have been browsing all afternoon, in addition to over the past few months) but for some reason it is only registering as 2 hours and 13 minutes. i also read r/bitcoin so while i am not a bitcoin genius, i am probably a bit more knowledgable than a true-blue newbie.

Im going through the 4 hours and 5 posts anyway, but this is an alt account for me. I started it to propose and promote a Bitcoin service idea I came up with.

And by the way, can anyone tell me why rules are so strict here? I may simply underestimate "Scamer" problem, but you can simply forbid making new topics or so. By the moment you register and can do nothing, except posting here... May be it will be better to make invite-based registration instead?

Seems like the restrictions aren't being lifted, nor is anyone responding or upgrading us. Guess we're stuck in newbie purgatory. Really makes interacting in the community impossible.

I am among the many bitmarket.eu - users, having been scammed by bitmarket Admin and bitcointalk-member "M4v3r". In this thread titled " BitMarket.Eu - ownership changed (in a way) they claim to have sent an e-mail to all of their users to participate in a poll on their website. However I did not receive an e-mail from bitmarket. Instead I learned about the scam by chance, here on bitcointalk. I am pretty sure that I am not the only bitmarket-victim, who has not been notified by e-mail. I would like to make the above statement in the appropriate thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5441.720

I've been on the forum for 4 hours and 6 minutes with 10 posts yet I still can't post in other places than the Newbies section. Does it take longer at times?
