The required 5 posts is more than I published anywhere in the last 6 months (I'm more of a reader type than a post-writer).  Embarrassed

Was this stated anywhere when I registered? Cause I didn't see anything nor did I get any mail after my registration, which made things difficult for me - took me 2 weeks to find out about this board Cheesy
Yes, it was stated on the registration page. You're supposed to read that.

Hi, new here.

Heard about Bitcoins awhile back but never really got into it cause I have nvidia cards which suck for mining due to the mhash/kw costs...

Been looking for some nice cards but no luck yet since the people selling them aren't very responsive lol.  Here's to hoping, although I'm probably a bit late to the game.

Obviously this regulation issue works out very well for this forum. Like the quality of the overall posts!

Having a rating an OTC, doesn't help to speed up the process to be able to post on other threads?

Why have my last three posts been deleted?

I can't see them, so I can't answer this question, but it's possible you looked like a bot with only 'introductory' type posts that could have fit into any thread anywhere.  Try to respond to the posts of others with relevant info, even if it's just to complain about how completely stupid this whole thing is.  What we need to see is that you're actually an independent mind.

"The powers of financial capitalism had another far-reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements arrived at in frequent meetings and conferences. The apex of the systems was to be the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled by the world's central banks which were themselves private corporations. Each central bank...sought to dominate its government by its ability to control Treasury loans, to manipulate foreign exchanges, to influence the level of economic activity in the country, and to influence cooperative politicians by subsequent economic rewards in the business world."

Does the filtering algorithm you use take into account logged-on time when trying to identify a bot?

No, there is no filter that I am aware of.  Deletions are done only by living moderators or admins.  However, an unattached complaint about a particular website is not only off topic within this particular thread, we've had some trouble with bots doing exactly that.

While it can stop spammers, it just seems like it encourages new members to post random junk to get their post count up to par while they wait the 4 hours.

Took me a minute to come back here to realize that you need 5 to post elsewhere, was wondering why I had no reply button to put in the electricity kw/hr cost in my are in another thread lol.

Ok, lets start a contest! Which thread will be first to answer his question?

p.s.
I ´m out of the game for fairness reasons.  Grin

The paining (sic!) is done with the QPainter class inside the paintEvent() method.

Revalin just outran me shortly before I lost my noob-flavour.  Angry
Therefore I consider his answer wrong! Plus he just gave a helpful solution whilst not really answering the question with yes or no.  Wink
