This sub-forum was too far down in the forum list IMO. I've spent the last 20 minutes curious why I couldn't post and was about to abandon it. Was looking in the help link at the top for posting restrictions, etc. and this section just barely caught my eye. Of course I may be slightly mental.

The board needs a more intelligent solution to keep out bad people or bots.

I think the newbie restrictions are quite a good idea as they do mean bots have to be a lot more intelligent if they're going to bypass the rules :-)

Newbie restrictions make sense.
Only a few more hours to go.

Very frustrating. I have an important question to make. Surely there are better ways of doing this.

Ahh makes sense. I had browsed through the help section and was thinking that my browser or something was blocking those buttons that should've been appearing if I was registered. But, alas, I am 'le newb.

Posting to hopefully get my restrictions lifted since this will be my fifth post and have browsed for >4 hours.

So that's all I have to do to start posting elsewhere? Seems alright to me, I wish more forums did stuff like this.

Do the posts have to be within the newbie section or can they be anywhere?
