Like my momma always used to say, "Forums are like a box of chocolates. Never know what you're gonna get."

I used to day trade Bitcoin successfully. Then I took an arrow to the knee.

Interesting tiered approach to allowing different features at different post counts.

This hit me quite unexpected. I was discussing a topic (well ok, I complained a bit about still not being able to access my account at Mt. Gox  Embarrassed ), had 4 posts and now I'm forced to post here just to get my fifth. But then, so be it  Tongue

As much as I hate it, i'm going to add my share of spam here to get 5 posts before asking my real question in the right forum

5 posts doesn't seem like enough to keep the spammers and trolls out, you can get 5 posts over nothing and 4 hours if even easier...

Interesting restrictions.  Makes you post in the newbie section but nobody that would read or respond will be looking in this section.

Kindof a catch-22.

So i have been mining for over a week so far and have some windows7x64 vs centos5.6x64 observations.  I could setup an identical hardware experiment, as i have two identical machines mining in centos but haven't yet.

But if I have to make 5 posts in the newbie area, whilst I want to post something meaningful under a normal topic, doesn't it mean I'm to "spam" to qualify and pass the restrictions made to prevent spamming?
anyways, keep up the good work Smiley

its kinda annoying because the only reason i want to use forums is cause client isnt working, and i have to wait 4 hours and 5 posts to post in tech support...

I think it would be easier for you if you tried googling and wasted 30 mins, and spent the other 3.5 hours mining coins =)

yeah that's what I meant, you should try using google to find a solution and get your worker up and running, instead of waiting for 3 hours to ask a question here..
