Version 1.8.4 released, new bugfixes https://github.com/byteball/byteball/releases

* Fixed a crash in light wallets when receiving a payment notification
* Fixed multiple issues that caused full wallets to crash while syncing
* Improved Russian translation

Excellent! Full backup on WIN64 is working! Not sure if that was rectified in this version, but stoked I can use the full backup option once again!! Smiley

There will be only one transaction from the exchange that outputs to all the addresses the different users withdrew to.

The bot refuses to link any address whose micropayment is included in a transaction that has more than two outputs.

I agree with the first sentence.

I have read the OP many times.
I can't see where it says the micropayment must be a 1or2 output transaction.

Not saying you're wrong, but I can't find where you see that as a rule.

Indeed, it's not mentioned in the OP, however it has been discussed in the very early days before the first round, it would be quite time-consuming for me to find the posts about it.

The only way to be objectively sure is to try it Smiley.

..if I may add (I remember the subject)

Sent my transaction from my bitgo wallet and received this message from Transaction bot

I received 0.0015 BTC from 3QcomrVZo8T7XARRVYziJg3B8BqkzcZs2D but this transaction looks like it was sent from an exchange, which is not allowed. Please send BTC only from a wallet that you own private keys for. If you think it was a mistake, please contact tonych@byteball.org

why do they think its an exchange?

I already replied you by email:

See here https://blockchain.info/address/3QcomrVZo8T7XARRVYziJg3B8BqkzcZs2D, there are too many outputs that’s why we detect it as an exchange (transactions sent from regular wallet usually have 2 outputs).  Please use a wallet where you control the private keys.

To add to this, Exchanges process withdrawals in bulk to reduce amount of Transaction Fees Wink

Didn't think there would be so many comments before I could reply....

First, I understand that exchanges do multiple sends to reduce fees.

My comment was NOT specific to Only exchanges.  There is also gambling sites.

I have one wallet registered that Specifically came from a gambling site (not the sites address).  It is a 2 output (1 to me, and 1 to the sites cold wallet).  I can find several that are 3 output.  I am not going to give information on the specific transactions for obvious reasons.  So, I guess this idea of registering addresses that don't belong to you can be dropped by me by not providing proof.  Smiley

However,

The quoted transaction was a 5 output transaction. So, let's just be clear what tonych said....
It was blocked for being too many outputs AND that typical transactions are 2 outputs.
He didn't say byteball requires it to be 2.
- This can be easily cleared up.

Blackbytes showed up only on one device in 1-3 multisig wallet. Why is that?

Edit: After 4 hours showed up on another one, third one is still missing BB.

Make sure they are all updated to the latest version and can chat with each other.
If any of the devices runs a full wallet, it must be synced in order to see the funds.

They are all light, two android, one desktop, same version 1.8.4. Just tried to send all funds from multisig wallet to regular wallet on desktop. Bytes went ok, same balance on all 3 devices. For black bytes, only desktop shows correct balance, android signers show complete crap.

P.S. I am going to delete multisig wallet, create a new one and try to send some black bytes there.

Do they chat with each other?

Yes, they did chat.

I deleted multisig wallet (sent all funds to regular wallet on desktop before this), reinstalled byteball on anroid devices, paired devices again, created a new miltisig wallet and sent some black bytes there. Now, all 3 devices show the correct balance. The only glitch I had, I can't delete old paired android devices from desktop after I reinstalled byteball, so I renamed them.

P.S. OOPS! Sent another black byte transaction from regular to miltisig wallet and again desktop shows correct balance, but androids show me crap. They chat ok between each other.

PPS It looks like android has a hard time to sync between multisig devices. Syncing indicator goes forever and each time after it finishes it shows different black byte balance which is incorrect. Do anybody else has this problem?

Such Strong hodlers of byteball, only 0.4 % of Total Gbytes on Trex sell book (not considering wallet is still in maintenance)

Any word on when the wallet will be re-enabled?

Your special problem I have not, but the strongly diverging synchronizing times I can confirm

2 of 3 multiple device (light) wallet
low budget smartphone (android 6.01)
Fire Tab Android (fire OS 5.3)
fast laptop (WIN 10)

At the distribution: Transition bot reported distribution (chat message via smartphone) and the GBB credit was immediately displayed on laptop.
~20 minutes later on Fire-Tab, ~30 minutes later on the smartphone. Display GB and GBB after syncronization both correct.

As a very rough rule I would say:
Synchronization and display on my laptop (SSD) very very fast (2 seconds).
Fire Tab sometimes slow (0.5-5 minutes), but that is o.k.
Samsung galaxy mini synchronization (sometimes) very slow (5-10 minutes).
I guess: The syncronization time depends heavily on the read / write performance of the devices?

This is great example of trust and faith in the team. In due time this will be re-enabled so you want to make transfer into your wallet from Bittrex. Hold is great decision with current interest rate which is much impressive.

I'm moving my BTC to my old laptop which is just 32bit, is there a wallet for 32bit for byteball? I'm looking for either exe or .deb file for 32 bit system if there is.  Has anyone compiled from the source for 32 bit system?

edited: found it on this thread as well.

any wallet for win 32 dev?
I have already download but win 64.
its not compatibel for 32bits.  Angry

Try this: https://byteball.org/downloads/Byteball-test-win32.exe.
This 32bit version works on my win64, you will be the first to try it in win32.
