i received 125M bytes how much byteball that is? sorry for the newbie question but this coin is new to me, i see that on bittrex it say GB, so i guess i have 1.2 byteball, is that correct?

Byteball is a storage unit of DAG- database that bears the same name. It is  not a coin. The token is called byte. 1Gbyte = 1000MByte = 1000 000 KByte = 1000 000 000 Bytes

Security and convenience Notice for users of these hubs

byteroll.com - 1gbit unlimited in North Europe.
e.byteroll.com - 1gbit unlimited in North America
s.byteroll.com - 200mbit in Singapore.

They do not have the "Push notifications" enabled, as that requires Google Cloud Messaging/Google-Services to function. When using those hubs you wont receive push notifications / when someone sends you a Chat message in Byteball, you wont be notified until you look at the Byteball app.

This is in my opinion a security precaution, to not give any data not even 1 byte to Google for using Byteball, either the hub or the Byteball app. The information Google receives when using push-notifications is at least "Android phone Y has message available for delivery at datetimestamp ...", in my opinion that is too much information.

Further, the hubs and witness wont ever reveal your IP address as is done by the byteball.fr/worldmap. There is no logs on the above hubs, logs go to /dev/null.

Other hubs you can use is blackbytes.me/bb which isnt mine.

Can't sync the wallet connected to e.byteroll.com/bb. Other devices connected to different hubs synced with no problem.

Thanks for reporting! As it hasnt got logs I couldnt troubleshoot the cause, but it got stuck itself, was unsyced, probably during the previous time an upgrade was required.

Will add some more monitoring to the hubs.

There is now a wiki.js instance at https://byteroll.com/ you can login/authenticate with your byteball.slack.com and begin writing!

Hi,

I received 0 in this airdrop, despite having linked everything and sent all BTC to that linked address. I wrote to the email address on the byteball hp. anything else I can do about it?

Are u synced? Check your address on explorer https://explorer.byteball.org/

I did everything as the bot asked me to. even got this message:

Your payment from xxx has 1 confirmations now.

Please make sure that xxx is indeed your address and move all your coins to this address. You receive 62.5 MB and 131,943,750 blackbytes for each 1 BTC of the total balance of this Bitcoin address on May 10.

Current balance of this address is 0 BTC.

I have sent the BTC in time 12 hours before the snapshot to the BTC address. My address is not in that explorer.... I am sure I did everything right, as I told my friends how to do it, and they all received their free coins

If you did everything  as the bot said correctly, then you would have byteball like everyone else.  There was an issue which we can't see without more info.
Without any real information, no one can see what happened.

You're gonna have to tell use your BB address or BTC address.

Everyone bitching, but not one has shown a single address they believe they registered.

Just 1 BTC addy shown and we can see if registered and if coins in it.   Or, just PM me and I can check.

or... check for yourself...
http://transition.byteball.org/
Top right has a search box.  Just fill in your BTC addy to see if registered.

If so, then check a blockchain explorer to see if coins are in the addy AND confirmed at the time of the snapshot block.

Same here. Transition bot said yesterday: "You also receive 0.21111 blackbytes for each 1 byte of your balance on the linked Byteball address, which currently is: ***: 2.**** GB." but there're no any blackbytes now.

I received again from this round now balance is growing significantly due to holding all my bytes at once place. In future when this distribution will be done it will get more value as this community is growing and this unique tech getting more attention.

Is this really necessary? I just made a backup using the lightwallet this morning by going to settings and selections full backup. Is that not enough? Full backup includes seed, correct?
