its not that you should avoid paypal, you still can use it on legit ecommerce site such as amazon. its always a useful tool t have it still.
You however have to chose when its time to use it. I use my paypal when buying on some trusted sites like godaddy for some cheap domains.

I have no problem with paypal services.  Most of my earnings through paying applications was paid directly to my paypal account and since then never encountered a problem.  I can transfer my funds and pay my friends without any fees.  Maybe you have violated some of their rules.  Perhaps you should try to contact them through their email or chat support.

I have a good relationship with paypal Grin.  I never encounter a problem with every transaction that I made with it.  It is widely used so it would be hard to believe that it is a scam.  I usually exchange my funds earned online to bitcoin using my bitcoin wallet.  It would be good if bitcoin would have a partnership with paypal, it would be easier for me to transfer funds.  Just ask someone from their website and seek help.

PayPal was built to actually prevent scam on services like eBay.
That's why it allows charge back.
Now its popularity is not as big as its growth so it charges quite a lot and do dirty tricks to squeeze more money from you (currency exchange).

While I would advise everybody to be cautious when using PayPal, it would be wrong to say that they scam.
But while they don't care to understand cryptocurrency, they provide a great tool for scammers.

Ofcourse paypal is not a scam it's just a very annoying company. Often they freeze funds for no apparant reason. They will give it back once you verify your whole damn life but it's super customer unfriendly and they do this because often people can't verify and then the money is theirs.

paypal is just near to impossible to turn into scam, the company already verified, and all of the employees and the owner already being known by the govenrment of the country where they starting business, turn into scam will only result the owner of the company to be prisoned

But, any business may get bankrupt at any time and Paypal is just a centralized business and it is simply dependent on its higher officials. If they get into any malpractice, then one one will be able to save it.

Now just think about bitcoin, no officials and central power. We just dependent on ourselves. We trade, we decide our worth.

Paypal a scam? Ha, c'mon, the site has s brutal security system and it's very correct in every service they offer. I really like Paypal and I use it since 2006 and even in local markets, extreme far away markets -- I recharge pre paid cellphones, I already bought a mining farm in 2014 when I was in Seoul and I even bought a motorcycle --, never had a problem because I know that Paypal is not a easy to chat company. Even using as a merchant in a period before Bitcoin they were very gently and very quick to pay me for the stuff I sold in Ebay. Many BTC users hate Paypal but I really like.

I have had an issue with Paypal and while I was trying to look for a solution on the internet, I came across this website (https://www.consumeraffairs.com/online/paypal_02.html) where everybody is complaining about Paypal. Most of the complains were actually similar to the one that I have. I thought Paypal is a credible company but now I have started feeling worried about my funds stuck in the accounts.

I had use paypal for almost 8 years and i did not get any trouble with those years. I don't know now because i am not using it anymore because of Bitcoin. If there are many people complaining about Paypal better not use it until the problem is solve.

it's absolutely not a scam site, i had use paypal for 4 years if i'm not wrong however when i ask the seller are they accept paypal or not? most of them sugested me to used other payment processor like payoneer now bitcoin is most popullar, they had some stories scammed by the buyers like dispute money, dealing with account hacked or something , now bitcoin is a solution where there is no feature like dispute money on it's system.

It's not only you who are issue with paypal, I had many times issue with them even though I many times wanted to not use it but still ended using it because it's safer than putting the card details as plain text. Try contact their support.

Paypal is simply a service.  It was one that came at a great time and stills serves its purpose.  For a business, especially one that is mobile or online, they give the business the ability to accept funds when they normally couldn't.

My problems with Paypal actually started when I sold 1 bitcoin to a person who had Paypal funds. I did not know that he was a scammer until I realized that the paypal funds had been reversed. I had already released my bitcoins and he went ahead to reverse the transaction. Paypal immediately put my account under limitation. After 180 days, the balance was made available for withdrawing. Unfortunately, I have been unable to withdraw because I don't have a US bank account. If someone knows how can go about to withdraw I will appreciate. The account is still under limitation but the balance can be withdrawn.
