Is Paypal a scam?

Paypal is not a scam and exists for ages. It is the best way to do your online payments. Maybe some times they do a lot of silly rules for members, but still for me it is the best payment system online. 

Yes i agree, Paypal is a great company, and they are already working with many banks, including in my country. Recently I make a deposit and withdrawal of funds, it is still easy and no problem. I think if you are having problems, it is because the verification is not yet complete. So the assumption seems unfounded scam.

Everyone agrees that paypal is big firm but still paypal involves in the scam attempts and you check in google itself. Most of the people complain about paypal scam attempt mails to their boxes. However we are using bitcoins. We are safe in it.

The best and most secure yet anonymous way of making payments is via bitcoins. Paypal is just another legal payment processor and bitcoins is a revolution since it defines a new currency.

Unfortunately many people still prefer paypal over bitcoin because of its coverage amongst many merchant in this world. if bitcoin just have as the same coverage as paypal i'm really sure that bitcoin can be the most used currency for online transactions. bitcoin have so many advantages that paypal don't have and it's running not for profit because it's ain't company.

Yes, you're absolutely right - PayPal and Bitcoin is a completely different system, and you can not compare them.
Several times I used PayPal, and I really did not like the service. And if they just block the account, then why bother to work with them

I am also very confident that paypal is not possible scam. if they would harm their own scam. we all know that paypal still leads in terms of online payment systems, bitcoin still lose. if you are having trouble with paypal, finish well, they certainly help.

Most of the complains were actually similar to the one that I have. I thought Paypal is a credible company but now I have started feeling worried about my funds stuck in the accounts.

I do believe paypal is not a scam. But for a certain years that being established in this industry, there are many circumstances they encountered in terms of there services. And we can't blame other's why they complain, of course they are fighting for their rights that they invested in paypal. Paypal will continue to stand as long as there is client giving their trust to them. In your case, my suggestion to you is keep on trying to contact with them after they fix your concerns to them I think its time for you get away from them, so worrying will not be apply anymore.

Before Bitcoin was created Paypal is already in this industry. So I don't see any valid reason that it is scam, no its not like that. Even Bitcoin overtake the Paypal, it will still stand, because I know they will still have a client who will continue to believe in their services.

People are accusing PayPal because PayPal takes extreme caution while doing a transaction. Sometimes over security kills the comfort level (I am not saying that it's wrong) but the trouble of freezing funds for months causes irritation even though it is far better than losing funds in any actual scam. I think PayPal should allow user to determine their own security level.

I think so too that all this talk about the poor performance of paypal is not more than just a hex which has specific goals to reduce the ratings of the payment system. Looks like there are interested parties.

Paypal is 100% Legit I think your account is not verified and it's have suspicious transaction or sudden change of the IP address which is prohibited at paypal. So If your account is freeze I think theres a way just send the your proof of billing to confirm and unfreeze your account immediately.

Many users are told not very good reviews on paypal, so I can explain it only in the presence and in some cases large percent on financial transactions, as opposed to bitcoin transfers.

PayPal is not a scam, I think the problem is in your account that violates PayPal rules? for me, PayPal is good if you only buy some stuff in legit sites, the almost problem of all PayPal member is their credit card is not legit, well if you have a legit cc then you cannot worry about your account, but if you don't have like me then choose Bitcoin. ;-D

I think that even this proof is not necessary. What paypal is not cheating say the number of users. If there were large even if the suspicion that many have ceased to use their services.

Respecting? I think it has more to do with violation of people's privacy. Especially when you for example receive a fairly large amount in the thousands, then PayPal has the right to put everything on hold where you can't access your money until you prove PayPal what the original source of the money is. I understand that this is a rule that the governments have forced through in order to "stop" money laundering and financing of terrorism, but what if they consider your proof not decisive enough?

PayPal is definitely not a scam. Things are all good till you noticed one fine day your funds are locked. Real issue is whether you have faced this kind of situation or not. Someone who has not faced any problem will always  vouch for goodness of paypal. When funds gets frozen from paypal, it is frustrating get them released. First one has to know whether paypal has actually froze it under correct circumstances. Getting responses from them is sickening. Thus more people stay away once they experience such incident. Till then others will vouch for it.
