The thing is each transaction and country does have some rules about the business made online, soo paypal usually goes inside those and applyes their justice, even if those isnt fair at all, as anyone can complaint at 90 days after purchase, this make the big problems coming into disputes. Soo you use and then you can return the seller the product.

It's 180 days and PayPal's protection is only for the buyers. The buyer can even take the product delivery and say it's not as per his standard and return it. The seller then pays the shipping fee and other fee that follow it which means that being a seller with PayPal is useless.

PayPal is not a scam but not reliable too where there are so many loopholes and maximum people scam using their payment processor. Still they refuse to change their terms.

I've seen many big online shops offering payment through PayPal, and they must somehow cope with PayPal's policies. In my view, it all comes down to the number of customers that the shop is serving. If their customer base is huge, that shouldn't be a big deal if some customers are deliberately abusing the service. In any case, I don't think that the number of wicked buyers is very large relative to the number of honest buyers.

PayPal is a big pain in the ass first it has country restriction

Certain countries are not within their operating range, that's right, but these countries have other alternatives for sending and receiving money. Bitcoin is one of them of course. These people will not miss out on anything just because PayPal is not operating in their country. Wink

it takes your money for every transaction

If you buy something with PayPal, or send money to a person or whomever, then it's free. The receiving party is paying the fees.

it takes a long ass time to process any payment.

It depends on what you are referring to. If you are talking about sending money from one PayPal account to another, then it comes through instantly. Perhaps that you can explain what exactly takes a long time in order to be processed.

PayPal is not a scam, but without a doubt its policies are a pain, especially if you are a seller, since PayPal can freeze your funds and ask for verification over and over again for no reason at all.

Paypal is like a bank, they can freeze your account once you violated their policy and the policy of the state. They know if transactions are illegal or not and normally for illegal transactions that is not allow. The AMLA requires them to be strict if I were not mistaken as they have bank partners.

In my opinion, it has good that PayPal has stringent rules to protect buyers. The limits they have put to other countries is punitive. Therefore, I feel they should not even allow people from other countries to use its services. Why should you allow someone from a different country to use your service when he will have problems withdrawing their money to their local banks?

PayPal can freeze your fund for whatever reason that suits them and not only about things that goes against their TOS, if you have more than certain amount of money, they ask you for verification and freeze your funds, I have known cases of people they got their funds frozen because they bought a gift card.

Correct. This is so true and it is getting to be a pain in the butt. Why do they do that if you are already verified. They want some more verification even if you already sent them most of it. There is this connection in the bank also with them and as if we can make an account in the bank without our personal information. Simple as that and yet they still want some more.  Huh

PayPal isn't bad overall, and it can be incredibly useful and, well, efficient, for what it does. The only real difference is that PayPal is still a private entity, and as such, can freeze your funds whenever it wants. You just gotta hope they don't every so often.

Well I asked for a limit lift on my paypal account, everything went smooth and after a few months they freezed my account due to a fact that I received 2000$ in my paypal account, but I didn't received any payment higher than 200$. I contacted their support and they said that due to a possible fraudulent activity they had to block my account, but all the money received was from etoro. I kept spamming them with emails, but they just ignored me. I lost my account with 2$ in it  Grin, I'll never trust paypal again in my life, just a bunch of idiots.

I have had an issue with Paypal and while I was trying to look for a solution on the internet, I came across this website (https://www.consumeraffairs.com/online/paypal_02.html) where everybody is complaining about Paypal. Most of the complains were actually similar to the one that I have. I thought Paypal is a credible company but now I have started feeling worried about my funds stuck in the accounts.
Yes Bro I Also Think That Paypal Is A Scam Because It Freezes Your Funds For No Reason And Also Not For A Small Period They Freezes Them For 180 Days But If You Had An Issue Its Better To Contact The Support Now Otherwise Leave Using Paypal....

Paypal has never frozen funds for no reason. There is always a reason, even if people disagree with the interpretation of actions that preceded the freezing of the account. Usually, it's usually people using Paypal against the TOS that gets their accounts or funds frozen. People who have funds frozen and claiming it was for "no reason" are not being truthful about the illicit activities they are involved in that got their accounts frozen, or their attempts to use Paypal improperly themselves.

PayPal is a big pain in the ass first it has country restriction second it takes your money for every transaction and it takes a long ass time to process any payment.

That is the truth, they are pain in the ass. They have ridiculous fees, but they are not scam. Many sites and services have country restrictions. We have luck that bitcoin doesn't have such restrictions, thou some bitcoin sites have restrictions for example. That restrictions depends from country laws, nkt from the service ot site as I know.

Many of us don't have choice but to use paypal for the online stores and merchants are using them and they don't have other option for their payment processor. Paypal is not scam, but it is really hurting us with the fees that we are needed to pay forcely. And every time they have update or increase, we can't do something about it.

People who have funds frozen and claiming it was for "no reason" are not being truthful about the illicit activities they are involved in that got their accounts frozen, or their attempts to use Paypal improperly themselves.
definitely, sometimes people just don't believe if they're actually doing someting wrong which is against paypal's TOS and keep bullshitting around if paypal banned their account without reason whilst actually reason is exist but they just don't accept it because they will feel losing,a big company won't blatantly banning their users without any reason,it will make their reputation getting bad

PayPal is not a scam, but without a doubt its policies are a pain, especially if you are a seller, since PayPal can freeze your funds and ask for verification over and over again for no reason at all.

over verification, because paypal want client is save use paypal
and paypal open feature dispute too, to guaranteed savety use paypal

I hope that PayPal will restore its reputation and will work as early as in the near future. It is a pity that they have lost a lot of customers. Nobody wants to risk their money

I agree with you  that  paypal service  is still used  nowadays  because  people   get used too  it   regarding  on  making   online transactions ,  their policies  really sucks and  its  a pain  but  i could  really say that  their  clients  or  users   are  decreased  because of  bitcoins  existence  and  im assure of that,  for those  people   who are not  aware on bitcoins  existence  theyll surely  use paypal still.
