Paypal is not a scam. Sometimes they frozen users accounts, because of suspicious payments. It can irritate, when you thinr that they have no reason to do this, but it is for our safety. Bad guys also want to use Paypal, so company that think about its reputation should prevent illegal activities.

If you just send money (probably 99 % of people) it looks as super legit company with good customer protection and it 'just works'. If you get a merchant account you will find out what true PayPal is all about and you will eventually Pay, pal.

My suggestion is stay the hell out of it - the rules are not transparent and are bent all the time and they can do whatever they feel like, with payment processors (processing VISA/Mastercard) you can at least choose from multiple but once you 'hook' your customers on PayPal it's over.

Just my 2 cents - everyone I know had at least once at some point their PayPal account frozen (ofc the merchant account).
This is true, if you use paypal as a payment processor you are going to get a very good impression of paypal, but if you are selling stuff on ebay or something sooner or later your account is going to get frozen even if you are a legitimate business.
It can not be that all accounts were at risk and endangered the paypal all users. Yet, in contrast to the bitcoin, paypal has a legal obligation.

In some cases account funds get put on hold for legitimate reasons, I can't say anything about that. But quite often people get annoyed by PayPal that when they get sent a certain amount, it gets put on hold till you can prove the source of this money. In relative decent circumstances the funds get released in a matter of days, but quite often it can take a week or two before people get access to their money. In some cases this money is needed to pay bills and stuff. In this case the paranoid policies of PayPal go to far.

One just have to order and pay at the front of the hotel and a room used air ticket via paypal. I generally do not even worried that something will not work. All I paid and was even happy with the lack of problems. So it is not possible for me to say something bad against paypal.

Yes that's what i wanted to explain earlier. No use to sue paypal considering the costs. As well i saw long ago, they closed account of a biz making multi millions,Still their lawyers wee not able to do anything at the end...

Good news for me, not sure why or how, but Paypal removed my limitation without doing anything and without recieving an email from their side lol I don't know what happened so they decided to change their mind and say "yeah Legaulois is a good guy" What is true i admit  Grin
Anyway i ordered a bank transfer to see if everthing is fine 100% tomorrow i will be sure 100%

PayPal is scam seriously. First of all  i would like to tell you that PayPal is a totally legit organisation so basically what i meant by that is if anything happens to the site like hacked or maybe some kind of glitch which made you lose your money PayPal is totally liable to pay you without any excuses. And you are also allowed to sue them if it is their fault so i don't think you shouldn't be scared of anything.

You are saying 2 opposites things:
=> PayPal is scam seriously
PayPal is a totally legit organisation <=

As for to sue Paypal, i would like to tell you good luck, specially for an average customer. There are lot of companies that tried this before with good and reputed lawyers and they simply got nothing and lost more money due to cost to sue them. Very hard to mess with Paypal

If you didn't lose millions of dollars, why even bother suing Paypal? You're gonna travel abroad to have a hearing with them and that alone costs a lot. A lawyer that has the same level as Paypal's lawyers would also cost a lot. It's not worth suing them since you're just going to double what you lost so most people just rant about it on the Internet and hope that somehow it gives Paypal a bad reputation.

But to be honest, you wouldn't win against them simply since you encountered that so-called "problem" of yours because you violated a rule or their policy doesn't cover your concern.

When exchanging Bitcoins to PayPal balance, only do small amounts like $500 and then slowly raise it higher. PayPal are alerted when they detected huge spikes in your accounts. When I am about to receive big amounts of money like $30k, I'll notify PayPal staff and they are very kind to me.

paypal is actually not scamming nor a scam site, when a service is just popular and getting used by so many people,i'm sure their quality will be lowering and so many problem will occur either major or minor problem to their clients, they can't take care of their clients and can't pleasing all of their clients so it will result so many complain

I so agree with this. With a lot more people using Paypal we can definitely expect a decrease in the quality. But of course a lot of people use Paypal and can't live without it because it makes their life easier. Let's not bad mouth about a service we're not really comfortable using. If it's not working for you then stop using it, just don't spread bad stories about it.

Paypal is not scamming but they are forced to be related to the law.
As they are a under the law, they have to lock accounts which seems to be doing suspicious actions, and they have to ask you for an ID sometimes when they see a weird move from your account.

Paypal is acting like a bank, so don't expect it to let you do what you want without asking any questions.

Paypal staff is nice and quick response. Many have assumed that Paypal is scam because they account is frozen. The bottom line is communication, if our Paypal account in freeze, of course Paypal the have a strong reason. Remember, the working is program, so the chances of wrong always available. Based on my experience, is usually a credit card verification issues. If everything still problem, then the best way is to contact the Paypal staff.

For me paypal is not a scam but it can be used by scammers to scam other people who are using online accounts for buying via internet. Most scammers sells goods offering cheap products that may attract buyers online and transact with peoples who cannot be trusted and then you could be their victim. If already have deal with them that's the time they require your paypal account for the payment and no products or goods are coming out to you and everything has not come out to reality as what have you negotiated with them by deal discussions through e-mail.
Well that is true, PayPal has had a really bad reputation these past couple of years even though people are still using it, the thing is PayPal has become easy to hack to and the best example for that is to look at how many accounts are on the black-market right now, it has no security, unlike for example bitcoins.

Why compare these two payment systems. Yes, Bitcoin is more secure. But we can not say that PayPal scammers. This service is very convenient and I sometimes use them. Problems with PayPal I do not have

The paypal transaction is greater than the bitcoin, I'm sure paypal is not a scam because a lot of countries and banks that are already connect with paypal. In addition they are companies that already go public.

Yeah. Paypal is not a scam. In fact, many forex traders are using paypal as their wallet. And many large companies tend to use PayPal in their online transactions. About them working with bitcoin. It is not possible since they are both crypto based currency. I think in the future there will be a Paypal to Bitcoin since some paypal users are also engaged in bitcoin which is the leading crypto - currency nowadays.
