I hope that PayPal will restore its reputation and will work as early as in the near future. It is a pity that they have lost a lot of customers. Nobody wants to risk their money

even their policies are sucks and painful,you can't avoid that they're the most used service compared to other

Most users are unaware of those policies anyway until they encounter someone disputing payments. I can only imagine people making thousands of money by depositing 1,000$ in Paypal, buying something worth 1000$, then dispute the payment after you got the item. I'm pretty sure somebody's abusing this Buyer Protection Policy so much while seller's can't do anything about it.

Indeed mate. Some people are very abusive and think that they can manipulate the system.. Paypal transactions are made online so that's why some people may have legit disputes and some are not. Some abusive users just want to try and take advantage of the policy.

Some? You should know how severe the problem of scammers charging back on innocent sellers is.

I understand that people see the buyers protection feature as a great tool in case they need it, but it by far doesn't outweigh the negative aspect due to all the scammers.

That's why I think the victims of this, and other people, will more and more prefer Bitcoin as a currency tool/payment platform in order to complete all their transactions.

Bitcoin guarantees them that all transactions are final. That should give everyone enough confidence and will to give Bitcoin a chance.

Indeed,  people   would   really make some  actions   regarding  on this  because they saw  this  as  an opportunity  for them to make  money  from  other  people  thats why  they  use  these feature of paypal   because they  know they could able to scam  people  with this. I agree with you  that  paypal service  is still used  nowadays  because  people   get used too  it   regarding  on  making   online transactions ,  their policies  really sucks and  its  a pain  but  i could  really say that  their  clients  or  users   are  decreased  because of  bitcoins  existence  and  im assure of that,  for those  people   who are not  aware on bitcoins  existence  theyll surely  use paypal still.

Yeah, and there are a lot of them. In fact it's 188 million users in 2016. I don't think all of them don't aware of the Bitcoin existence, it's just impossible or very incovenient to use Bitcoins in some cases so that's why they are using PayPal.

I have yet to see any big online store accepting bitcoins, barring game stores like Steam. As far as I know, stores like Amazon, BestBuy, iHerb, etc are not accepting bitcoins directly. And it seems that all of them are accepting payments made through PayPal, though. Why would they use it if it was a scam?

That kind of action would et shut down real fast. It's not in paypal's interest to allow people to get away with such abuse and it's not in their customers interest to tolerate a business that doesn't shut down scammers hard. PayPal is a payment middleman, and those in that business are ripe for disruption by middleman-less technologies, so they understand very clearly the need to operate fairly for all parties.

Yeah, that is a very unfair policy for the legit sellers that doesn't have an intention but to give good customer service to their buyers. But it seems that a lot of buyers and scammers are abusing the system of paypal as they will use the reversible payment. I don't know if paypal is just simply protecting the both party or they are in favor of one party only.

well that's will only going to happen if paypal do approve the chargeback request and the buyers who requesting chargeback will need proof to prove that he's actually really not receiving anything,but sometimes paypal just blindly approving the requests and as a result so many sellers getting scammed,and it's always happening when a transaction just about to break the paypal's rule such as having a cryptocurrencies transaction,ironic but real

no paypal is not a scam there's a billion people in the world who's using paypal to send and received money from it. i've been a user of paypal for 6 years and i could say their service is 100% trusted. but if you do something illegal they would hold your account and you will go through some method where you need to verify that you're not doing any illegal. you should read their rules and regulation every company have that. and you can also check their FAQ.  hope this helps.
