Actually paypal is not totally scam but they are facing scam accusation and negative feedback in some transaction that's why some people may think that paypal is a scam especially those people who not used paypal before. |

I agree with this and we should think that paypal is company that being already used by people by years specially on doing online transactions like payments and online shopping.They cant became scam but there are intances regarding on their rules and terms which if it would be violate they will surely do unnecessary actions to someone thats why some will call it as a scam. As mentioned Paypal is a company that is popular for a long. Everywhere small issues will be there, for which we cannot completely indicate it as a scam. It made a different method of transaction solution which is being overcome by bitcoin. |

I have had an issue with Paypal and while I was trying to look for a solution on the internet, I came across this website ( https://www.consumeraffairs.com/online/paypal_02.html) where everybody is complaining about Paypal. Most of the complains were actually similar to the one that I have. I thought Paypal is a credible company but now I have started feeling worried about my funds stuck in the accounts. PayPal is not a scam, I think the problem is in your account that violates PayPal rules? for me, PayPal is good if you only buy some stuff in legit sites, the almost problem of all PayPal member is their credit card is not legit, well if you have a legit cc then you cannot worry about your account, but if you don't have like me then choose Bitcoin. ;-D I think that even this proof is not necessary. What paypal is not cheating say the number of users. If there were large even if the suspicion that many have ceased to use their services. PayPal is definitely not a scam. Things are all good till you noticed one fine day your funds are locked. Real issue is whether you have faced this kind of situation or not. Someone who has not faced any problem will always vouch for goodness of paypal. When funds gets frozen from paypal, it is frustrating get them released. First one has to know whether paypal has actually froze it under correct circumstances. Getting responses from them is sickening. Thus more people stay away once they experience such incident. Till then others will vouch for it. When you look at people complaining about Paypal being a scam, you will realize that they have had one problem or another. I you read paypals regulations properly, there is no day that you will experience problems. If it was a scam, then millions of people worldwide who paypals uses could be scammed trillions of dollars. |

Paypal a scam !!! No way. It is just another way of transaction, paying bills, buying good from online. they just have some rules and those rules are not just OK for some of us. Thereby some of us call paypal as scam. Working from home based online jobs and getting paid from advertisers would be a tough and time consuming without paypal. Micro transaction would be quite impossible with out payza paypal. Due to security issue, they follow some rules. True to paypal is not supported in some countries. But I will never mention paypal as scam.

paypal already made 17 years ago. and until now paypal still survive and become one of the number one payment method in the world. so I think you should not be afraid to use paypal that's actually right regardless of any complaing to the paypal, it's still trust worthy company but having poor quality of services, as you know that a company can't please all of their clients so there will always someone who's unpleased and it's really normal, paypal will not losing their reputation for the sake of thousands dollar Because of that poor quality service and because of their behavior of not caring for the hard work of people and freezing their account holding their money make them show as scam and when they freeze someones money without any obvious issue then they are called as scam service by these people. |

Bitcoins are easy to setup with no hassle whereas you need to fulfill requirements before entering into Paypal. |

I am done with Paypal, once for good. My account is open since 2007 and verified since years. Recently they limited my account due to the European laws and so they are asking me some administrative papers, card ID, ect... I have no problem with this european law and agree with it. But it is the 3 rd time in less than 9 months they ask me this same thing again and again. And this verification has already be done years ago without problem.
They ask me always the same thing to verify my identity. I did. The two last times all was finr after giving what asked. Now for this 3rd time, i give the same thing, the same ID card and they are not happy. The validity date on my card is expired but the card is VALID, Gov implemented a law long time back to incrase the validity of the ID card create until a certain date. So the id card is valid but in they eye of paypal the card date is expired so not valid.I wasted my time on phone with them explaining this but look like they never trusted it...
I shouldn't have to pay 70$ to renew my id card and wait 5-6 weeks to get it, just for having my paypal account verified... for the 4th time... I have still 2 months to give them a "valid" card otherwise....otherwise i don't know....

Although I still have a Paypal account I can't recommend them. Most of what you're reading on those review sites is actually happening. They are known to freeze people's accounts as they please and it has happened to me before when I was accepting donations for a community forum. What is most outrageous about account freezing is that (at least back when this happened to me, approx 2009) they actually ask you for (or to put it more correctly, force you to hand in) a photocopy of your passport/ID card. I have since tried to avoid Paypal whenever I can. There's also massive chargeback fraud going on via Paypal on Ebay, but I would rather not like to get into that topic, it's just too annoying. |

I agree even if there are some issues with paypal but it still remains a good foundation in the business world. Issues or problems with subscribers are normal and it's part of their business to fix or resolve their issues with their customers. |

Issues or problems with subscribers are normal and it's part of their business to fix or resolve their issues with their customers. I am also confident that the problems at the time of the payment system. PayPal may not be scams, there is no reason to think so |

Paypal is definitely not a scam. The problem is that they don't haven't many customer service employees so solving everyone's problems takes them quite a long time. They sometimes freeze people's accounts for no reason, but the issue normally gets resolved. I have been using paypal for quite a long time now, and I have not come across an issue like yours before. They do have relatively high fees, but they are not a scam. The scams only occur when people start charging back things. That is a big problem with paypal and it is the reason a lot of people have stopped using it. |

I don't think paypal is a kind of company who will scam people, or cheat them just because of money. Although paypal is very strict to their rules when it comes for the documentation or valid id for verification to there clients. It doesn't mean they have lots of complaint they are scam at once, no its not like that. maybe it is only the clients react due to their policies was very strict. this is just only my opinion |
