Yeah, PayPal itself might not be a scammer but people are taking advantage of its strict rules to scam other people. The moment you raise a complain about someone, PayPal will rush very fast to freeze his account and refund your money without doing proper investigations.

i think paypal is not scam, maybe there is any new regulations from paypal because as far as i know, paypal is one of legit sites that gives customer protecting in transaction and as customer, we need to obey that regulations and rule from paypal. so if something happen with you and paypal, my suggestion is, better you contact paypal support system and make clarification about your problem. so far, paypal support system will help you if there is a problem happen with you.

Prior to the changes, a seller that was broke and trying to unload things on eBay always hit the wall when it came to shipping.  They might have someone willing to buy the old TV for $50, but then they had to scrape together $15 to ship it.

they have buyers and sellers protection, so the seller can be protected as well, buyers can not say something like "i've not received my goods" everythign is tracked, so paypal is a good bet today if you want to be safe when buying or selling stuff

Just because a company rips you off legally, doesn't mean that it is okay for them to do so.
The rules might just be loaded heavily against you.

Yeah thats is a good thing for paypal.. why paypal will scam they have a legal service.. and you can be refund if you are not satisfied with the product you can dispute.. the buyers protection is work good for me.. when i was i am not satisfied with hosting or domain online.. they are refunding it. .

And also the buyer protection feature has been abused by som people who doesn't have good deeds online and paypal is the very riskiest processor to be reserved and thats why i think OP that paypal is scam its because he is victim of such bad dispute, but actually really paypal is legal processor and we must know how to use it and how to counter the deals so we can hit back if our deal mate will do some nasty moves so we cannot get compromise.

I've used PayPal and have never had an issue. Never over charged. Never scammed. Or maybe I don't realize I'm being scammed.

Most of the complains were actually similar to the one that I have. I thought Paypal is a credible company but now I have started feeling worried about my funds stuck in the accounts.

Its somehow  unusual thing for a reputable company which its been used by people  for how many years regarding  on online purchasing  they do have high fees  but they wont scam anyone without any reasons if they hold  your funds then  you could   contact their support  not just  posting directly saying  paypal is a scam.

they are running a bad service that is all, it doesn't mean they are scamming people.
the only reason why paypal is being used and it is popular is because what they offer is useful online and it is needed but that doesn't make it good.
if people start using bitcoin they realize what they have been missing out on.

I never said PayPal is a scammer. All I wanted is to hear other people's views about the claims on other forums that PayPal is scamming people. I have operated my PayPal account for over 7 years without a problem until 8 months ago when I exchanged bitcoin for PayPal and my account was put under limitation. So far PayPal has told me that I can now withdraw the funds but the system rejects when I try to wiyhdraw.  I was only surprised to hear other people claim that PayPal is scamming people.

i personally have no idea about this that either paypal is scam or not, actually i am not using paypal and never use it in my life time therefore i cannot say anything about paypal, by the way it is banned in my country.

PayPal itself is not a scam but you can be easily scammed if you use PayPal. People usually judge things based on their personal experience and if one or two people have bad experience with something,they start spreading bad words about it

the refund features were given to the buyers from paypal could prevent any scamming activities to the buyers,it's quite helpful but in other side it's also increasing the number of scamming to the seller which is terribly bad,that's so unfortunately

eBay and Paypal worked well together, allowing the seller to print a shipping label, using funds from the sale.  They could not have access to any more of those funds until the buyer accepted the shipment.

Lol yeah paypal yet a scam, paypal is a great company, so it is less likely to be a scam. I think you mean people who were deceived or their money stolen from their paypal account? it's less safe because a paypal account to save money? thats why I choose bitcoin

Paypal is a big and credible company AND there are many people that compalin about their service at the

same time.

I haven`t got any issues with them,but i`ve heard many horror stories about blocked accounts.

Just verify your paypal account,submit real info and don`t use the account for blackhat activities.

I used paypal for a long time before knew bitcoin and it was never occurred any problem, i recently juts using it to bought something and it was prefect, i think there is a reason why paypal is blocking somebody account, its impossible a big and trusted company just go blindly and froze everyone's account

yeah there's always reason but sometimes the reason just make no sense,they're limiting an account because of making a transaction and etc which is quite silly and strictful,you'll felt really unpleased and unsatisfied when you're using their service though even they're doing this for the sake of security,there's still some people getting hacked
