Nailed it An expensive lesson is: zcash and zcoin is not transparent, if hackers can find the bug, so they can get unlimited coins to dump. I am afraid this coin is dangerous to buy right now. |

My question is.
Why did it take so long to see the existence of extra coins?
Another question.
Coinmarketcap shows just over 1,00,000 coins. Is that number right?
Either way, 350,000 extra coins were sold. Which means no one was really paying attention.

The market will react extremely hysteric, as always ...  Without a reason! But there is a reason. Supposedly Zcoin is better than Zcash because extra coins can't be hidden. Yet 25% to 30% extra coins were minted and no one noticed until now. |

It seems the suspicious coin forging's carrying on. Check block 21704 out.
Seems they are forging at the number of 40.** one time, and changing them into one anonymous 100coins out.
