I can see more people having problems with Cryptopia. I wonder how many support people they hired to accommodate tickets? So far I got no problems though and I don't want to experience it. But I am hoping all these issues addressed well. Happy to see Lafu active here too.

I think I heard somewhere that they took on 50 extra helpers a couple of weeks, or so, ago, as until then it was pretty much a one man outfit, but you would have thought with 50 extra bodies in the team they would be able to sort out problems so much quicker than they are doing just now.

You are right but remember they will be need  training on all staff things and the system so its not so they can work full from one of the other day !

Looks Great Block Height 210260 (at the time of writing) there is no problem with Lana coin deposit and withdrawal, Why my Deposit went through and my withdrawal didn't?
Just to check if there is any problem i tried depositing few LANA coins to the platform and that was successful in less than few seconds and my withdrawal is pending for 2 weeks? can you check with support, because support is not responding to our tickets so Cryptopia left no option now.

For some information I have my transaction posted here and some addnodes which might help.

Make sure you leave Negative trust on the OP's Profile and do not remove it until they fix your issue.

I just did this. I had previously emailed the NZ Commerce Commission and they never cared to even respond, so I modified my email and sent it to FDRS.

I'm quoting my email here in case it helps anyone else pile on.

That's a brilliant idea. Sure fire way to bring the government etc into things and risk getting them shut down and have everyone lose their money. Bravo!

If you read what I wrote, I'm not expecting Cryptopia to voluntarily return my crypto, but if the government gets involved maybe they'll be forced to liquidate their assets and pay me something.

If my action causes you to lose your money though, I'll consider that a victory Cheesy

CryptoStorm - The Cryptopia trading bot

We've developed a bot with a sleek, easy to use interface that you can use to make your Cryptopia trading more efficient and enjoyable. It also supports Binance and Bittrex, so you can centralize some of your trading into one platform.

Try a free 24hr trial of here --> https://getcryptostorm.com/trial
Join us on Discord --> https://discord.gg/vQKjaxh

BOTS CAN POTENTIALLY STEAL YOUR LOGIN AND PASSWORD AND YOU CAN LOSE ALL YOUR CRYPTO - USE AT YOUR OWN RISK

If you plan to use a bot be aware that it can have malicious code, it can be potentially insecure code, you are disclosing your login credentials to a third party.

Later updates can also put your login details at risk and you can potentially lose all your Crypto.

For safety use a separate account for the bot so not all your Crypto is at risk.

Use it on a computer that does not contain crypto wallets and cannot infect other computers on your network.

Pumping and dumping is illegal in some jurisdictions.  Be aware that exchanges can potentially seize your assets on behalf of authorities if you participate in pump and dump scams.

We are surrounded by legends on this forum. Phenomenal successes and catastrophic failures. Then there are the scams. This forum is a digital museum.

Four airdrops, worth of thousands of $, I did not receive because cryptopia is holding my coins in "Processing". I don't get it, how is it possible to mess it up so huge, nothing is worse then when an exchange takes your currency and gives you nothing in return. 32+ days and counting, keeping my money.

This is very disappointing and shameful.
You're right, that is why I have been afraid of using it these days. Cryptopia has some major issues about wallets for days and wallets maintenance goes on ridiculous!

Today my order changed from Processing to Cancelled and I withdrew my coins in 1 minute.

Still lost a lot of airdrop coins...

In other news, GBYTE (Byteball) has been frozen for over 3 months now. Cryptopia is not responding to support requests, even after 20+ days.

The authorities have been alerted. I will contact a NZ lawyer soon.

Believe these "happy endings" and use Cryptopia at your own risk. After 3+ months, I don't ever expect to see the coins they snatched from me again.

We've noticed an increase in the number of FAKE Cryptopia accounts on Twitter claiming to be giving away free cryptocurrency.
We would never ask our users to transfer funds to participate in a promotion!

Sucks but that's great you got them back. It's frustrating when your transactions is being halted. If it true that they are fixing out one by one coin then I think mine Stuck ETN will release soon.

It’s called maintenance, no withdrawals because of maintenance. It's annoying of waiting, but they are OK. I've never had any issues with cryptopia, as have bought many times smoothly and successfully.

During maintenance, we have to wait because of you withdraw may be you may loose the fund. So it always better to wait until they finish upgrading everything, till now I never faced any problem with cryptopia.

From our  CEO

Alan Booth

Increased Transparency

It has been another busy week here at Cryptopia HQ. I’d like to report back on four key areas that affect our users in the interests of increasing transparency and better education when trading with Cryptopia.

1.
BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE RESPONSE TIMES

With the launch of the Cryptopia Help Centre last week, we are on the path towards improved response times and better resources for our users. For those of you who are waiting on a response from our Support Team I want to reassure you that you have not been forgotten. We will get to your ticket and appreciate your ongoing patience. We expect to vastly improve our response times by the end of the month.

2.
IMPROVED STABILITY & PERFORMANCE

Stabilising Withdrawals and Deposits has been the major recent focus for our development team. We are now running a significantly improved Deposit engine, with the new Withdraw engine in final testing. We want to ensure we rigorously test prior to launching but we will go live as soon as we feel confident. Stay tuned for announcements about exciting features in the roadmap.

3.
INCREASE OF PHISHING AND SCAM ACTIVITY

Our Community and Support teams have reported a significant spike in scam and phishing activity. Unfortunately, cryptocurrencies are a lucrative market for people operating scams and they are getting more sophisticated. Please make sure you review our article on how to keep your account safe and your information secure.

4.
MARKET VOLATILITY AND RISK

I’d like to take this opportunity to remind you that trading and financing trades in cryptocurrency entails certain risks (market shifts, liquidity, listings, legal etc.). The market is inherently volatile and we urge you to exercise caution, spend only what you can afford and ensure you educate yourself about any coins you choose to invest in.

Rest assured, the team here are truly dedicated to delivering you a fast, secure and customer focused cryptocurrency exchange. And we are in this for the long haul!
