We just hit and crossed 20,000 blocks so we should know be getting the full emission rate of 12.5 ZEC per block.

This should hopefully reflect in the mining rewards

after that DEV reward of Zcash is 0%  Huh

If I remember correctly for the next four years 20% of each block is given to the devs to be shared among them and the investors.

Did we reached the limit of 280x?
Is there still headway for the rx 470/480?

It wouldnbe great if these questions will be answered so we can invest on that gpu

I dusted my old 7770 and put to work along with my 480 for an extra 57. Now thinking of placing the even older 6950. Anyone has any performance numbers? These cards have been paid many times over so as long as they generate revenue above electrical cost they are worth putting them back to work. Tia

To those complaining about Dwarfpool payment scheme:

HBPPS and PPLNS are done to prevent poolhopping (switching pools base on how long they have been mining current round, increasing your own profits). This is trivial task to automate.

If they don't limit poolhopping, it is worse for you anyway, guaranteed.  If they do prevent it, it is possibly bad for you certain hours, but it would also be bad if they did straight proportional. If it takes them 4 hours to find a block (bad luck), when it on average would take them 1, you are getting 1/4 avg profit, which is less than you would want anyway.

With HBPPS or PPLNS, you get better returns long run, since pool hoppers don't profit. If it is a small pool, there is more variance, but this will be the case with other schemes as well. Straight PPS pools have higher fee due to higher risk. Mining is about the longterm, so even if pool only finds 3 blocks per day, over the period of like a week or a month, it will average out, some days they find 8, some they find 1.

Transistors    rx480-5,700 million   vs   390x-6,200 million
Bus Width              256 bit           vs           512 bit
so your 480 is approximately equal to the 280x and  will never reach the level of 390

I think so. If you undervolt the R9 390(x), you will get similar efficiency as the RX 480. You have to reduce the frequency below 950 MHz.

My 280x and 480 have about the same speed on ZEC, but the 480 uses much less power. So figure out yourself which is more profitable.

So what ?

Pitcairn have 256 bit bus too, but only 100-120 H/s
Fiji have 4096 bit bus, but it does even less than Havaii.

Well  lm have to say something about dwarfpool, been mining ETH for along time there , and get all Ive calculated only from 1-3 days after.... So , decisions on less than 1 day mining dont tell enything.  I think when they got more hashing power we will get all we disurv
