Hello,
Pray for some help on the following problem!
What this means, fence in the red rectangle?

It appears occasionally and stop digging. It is very unpleasant because it can occur after 15 minutes, but can also be done after 3 hours?
How do I solve this problem? If it is important that the intensity is 6.
Thanks!

Funny, so I've installed windows on one rig, Win 10 Pro, especialy for Claymore 8 and my 480's and like 10 years go, Win freezes completely on a random basis Smiley

Just one of the many reasons serious miners prefer LINUX.
Why, cause "Linux doesn't freeze"?

 1) LINUX is infinitely more stable than Windows (which isn't saying much).
I have LINUX machines that have run with no outages (hardware failure, shut down to physically MOVE the machine, and power outages excluded) since before Windows XP EXISTED - literally.
The only Windows machine I've EVER had go a year without crashing was a NT 3.51 SP5 machine - vs MORE THAN 20 YEARS for some of my LINUX machines that were running the same user programs.

 2) If you have a power outage, your miner running under Windows won't restart when power comes back on 'till you LOG IN MANUALLY (I have yet to see any miner program that could be run a a service).
LINUX makes it easy to set up so the miner will restart automatically after a power outage.

IMO the only thing Windows has going for it are that the overclock/fan control programs available for it like Afterburner are a lot better.

So you have 20 years of practice and still haven't learned to use search engines? Or linux aces who never update their machines never update their brain content too?
2) BitMoose and/or built in Task Scheduler

which zcash pool should i connect to?

https://zec.suprnova.cc no fee currently

suprnova.cc used to the biggest ZCash pool. What happened to it so it has to offer no fee to attract new users?

People started mining with Claymore and are using anonymous (wallet addresses) for mining - many are not aware that it works on suprnova too unfortunately.. You can just point your rig the exact same way with wallet address to suprnova as well ...

ZecMiner64.exe -zpool zec.suprnova.cc:2142 -zwal Yt1uaa4yJuwDvErGbzVERx69zt9qsaZZpMYG -zpsw d=256

Works for example and also sets a static diff of 256 for your worker..

Thats news to me - never knew that - thanks for clarifying.

Is this only for ZEC mining or available for the other coins at Suprnova?

For ZEC and Zcl currently but will add it to more pools as well

eta on ver 9 ?

To all:

1. All links to V9 are fake, I don't have it yet, so it's 100% scam and/or virus.
2. I'm still working on new version; as I said before, it takes a lot of time. Next version will be available in a few days.

Claymore:  I have noticed that ZEC is less profitable over ETH right now.  We will need an upgrade to stay more profitable over ETH.

Do you have any estimations as to the next release?  Thanks for great skills in programming.  Your programs always work!

P.S. Has AMD contacted you / you contacted AMD about their new RX 490 Announcement and Launching on December 12th?
This would be a great opportunity to get an advanced GPU sent to you for evaluation!

I second this, i had GPU 1 open CL hang errors... I got another riser and all is well and stable.

The thing is, if he can't (he probably can, just saying this IF) then ETH will be the most profitable coin unless zec mining can get faster.
ZEC uses less power then ETH mining (atleast on Polaris), so it's still better then ETH atm.

Please be patient, now it takes a lot of time to improve speed.
As I said before, it's possible to get good speedup but don't expect 30-50% speedups anymore and new versions every day, main speed racing is over.

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.

If its not a secret, what card types get more boost? 280X, 290/390, RX series?

It's the riser. I can tell you. What VER riser is it you use on GPU 0?
