Im trying to mine with Radeon HD-7770 1GB, but everytime i try to run GPU mining i end up with this:

ͻ
Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v12.0 Beta

ZEC: 1 pool is specified
Main ZCash pool is zec.pool.minergate.com:3357

Catalyst 15.12 is REQUIRED for best performance and compatibility
15.12 does not support some Fiji cards, use 16.3.2 for them
For 4xx cards (Polaris) Crimson 16.12.2 is recommended

At least 16 GB of Virtual Memory is required for multi-GPU systems
Make sure you defined GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
Be careful with overclocking, use default clocks for first tests
Press "s" for current statistics, "0".."9" to turn on/off cards, "r" to reload pools
NOTE: miner uses 3000 rounds to calculate average speed, so it may take about a minute to get correct speed.

Probably lack of memory with your video card.. It needs at least 2 GB of ram I think.
Also your card is soooooo weak, it's pointless to even mine with it. You would be losing money to mine with that card.
Get yourself a proper mining rig with at least 5 or more AMD RX 470 4GB video card if you want to earn any money.
Remember you are competing against other miners with a lot more hashing power.

amd r9 380x gives around 280 - 340 sol/s based on bios and clocks, amd products are better for cryptonote a moded rx 480 can give around 750 - 1000 h/s.

The error message is from a pop up window after I double clicked on the zecminer64.exe application.

"Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item."

Even if I ran the file as administrator, same error message.

@Claymore: Please add support BTG. For BTG Maximum job timeout over 20 min. 12mins for BTG is low

If you back read a page back you and i have almost the same problem, we lack the virtual memory to continue mining.
I suggestion you add more memory your hard drive since you need at least 12k MB to mine.

EDIT:  Problem fixed. Leaving original post intact below.

This morning I decided to check my graphics driver version and I discovered that despite me manually doing a clean install of 16.3.2 yesterday, 17.11.1 was  installed at some point without my knowledge or me being prompted for it. Auto update was unchecked in the AMD app, so i'm not sure what happened nor why I wasn't even prompted for a restart after it updated.

All seems well now, though I wonder what changed in  the Fiji/Fury drivers since 16.3.2 that messes with ASM?

------------  Original Post -------------

Hey guys, I got a little problem and I'm hoping that someone can help me find the fix here.  I've tried google and really haven't had much luck finding a fix.

Miner v12.6
Card:  AMD Radeon Fury
Win10  64Bit
Divers:  Both 16.3.2  and 17.11.1 (current)

The problem I seem to be having is that the miner freezes on me at start, usually right after authorization. No Hash speed, or anything else. It just hangs, freezes my PC and looks like it might be crashing my graphics driver (screen goes black).

It does this if I try to use ASM. If I set "-asm 0" in the config then it doesn't crash, but I only get 314H/s, far below what I should be getting on a Fury.

-asm 0 -a 2  gets me about 380H/s

I managed to get it running with asm on only 1 time, and that gets me 480H/s

Anyone have any ideas that could help me getting the full power of this gpu?

1. No need to disconnect from pool during slow blocks, it requires pools to periodically broadcast dummy jobs, it does not make any sense. Or make it configurable.

{"id": null, "method": "mining.notify", "params": ["JOB_ID", "VERSION", "PREVHASH", "MERKLEROOT", "RESERVED", "TIME", "BITS", CLEAN_JOBS]}

So in order to keep miner connected pool must force such dummy notify with last parameter (CLEAN_JOBS) set to false and incr ntime.

2. No need to treat error response to a nonsensical and non standard "extranonce.subscribe" method as "Share rejected" on launch.
3. No need to disallow different logins if `-nofee 1` specified, since there is no fee, allow any usernames to be used. At least useful for testing.

Just from 3 minutes of using it.

is this version 12.6 also vulnerable for remote attackers?

last week i'm getting messages in log like:

Quote
Remote management: read-only mode, command miner_file ignored
Remote management: read-only only, command miner_reboot ignored

every several minutes

I've never heard of anyone mining with crossfired GPUs, in fact all the advice given (when using several GPUs) is to turn crossfire off as it can cause problems when mining. Why not just give it a go and see what happens when running crossfire, if it works, and compare it to running the cards non-crossfire.

It wasn't but claymore's last cryptonight update did a miracle and now my rx 480 8gb gives 1000 h/s on monero.

Hello guys (again)!
Want to remind to all of you, that if somebody has any problems with stability of EWBF, DSTM, CLAYMORE miners or needs some extra control over your rigs please read carefully my message below.

I want to introduce you a script, which can solve most of your problems. It is a result of half a year hard work with my beta testers. Now it is clean of any bugs and ready to be introduced for the wide mining community.

1) https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2071108.0
2) https://forum.z.cash/t/cmd-equihash-miner-autorun-autorestart-watchdog-for-ewbf-claymore-dstm/20640

It will definetely reduce your valuable time spent near your rigs, because this script will do all the work for you. Just start it and forget about your rigs, relax or do anything else. In case of any problem this script will restart your miner, or the rig, if necessary. It will notify you by Telegramm message about all problems and corrective actions taken. It is open source code (CMD/BAT, not an .exe or something like this), so anyone can check throug the code if needed.
Enjoy your life, let the script to monitor your rigs for you.

Well you could get a simple rig resetter.  See SMOS website, they sell rig resetters.  Or you could build your own, its not that complicated.  Or you could have a switched PDU.
